I've added it to the list and will start collecting my thoughts/research for it!! Besides buying with the intention of having the items for as long as possible, it really is about systemically creating clothes that can break down or be recycled into reusable fibres!!

I think a huge part of it is reframing it from "getting rid of" to "rehoming/reusing". I try to think of all my clothing as a responsibility - I will need to resell the individual pieces or reuse them, just donating them sadly doesn't cut it. This also helps to curb my enthusiasm for very affordable second hand splurges!

I live in Namibia, Africa and have really grown fond of thrifting because not only is it fun finding good pieces, but the clothes from afar are of better quality and I can buy those at an affordable price. I’m very happy to now learn how much good that does for the environment! 🌿🌞

I find in today's world with online shopping people are always mindlessly consuming fast fashion. I consider myself a minimalist & probably buy clothes or thrift twice a year when I absolutely NEED something or have to replace an article of clothing. My peers look at me like I'm the crazy one, but after this video, I have more reason & impact behind why I'm shopping less & how that can be a perfectly healthy & sustainable option :) Thanks for sharing!
