I've always use the gray silicone gasket maker and never had problems. actually i did a 240sx that after removing the oil pan screws we had to use a flat screw driver and a pry bar to get it out. That should give u and idea on how strong even the seal was.

@nal4122 昔ですね、マイクロバスにもロータリーを載せた時代もありました。 でも結局高回転を得意とするエンジンなので日常使用に使う自動車のエンジンには あまり向かないんです。 走れない訳じゃないんですが低回転時の燃料消費率がレシプロに比べ良くないんです。

Merci de la clarté des explications, c' est une video utile .Le ratio de compression est il le meme que sur piston ?Ce genre de moteur tourne t il a tout les raffinements de pétrole ?Quel est le gain réel de rendement moteur ?En terme de durabilité ?Si la démarche constructeur est évidente, celle du transfert du couple moteur moins .Quid des moteurs a turbine ?(j' aime pas les moteurs a turbines, pourtant, en intelligence ...)

haha, you cannot think of it like that. Just because each rotor makes three detonations per crank rotation does not make it anything like a v6 (or any 6 cylinder, dont know why you chose v6) or a 9 cylinder for the 3 rotor 20b. Its a rotary, not a piston motor.

Actually it's not. It's like nothing. It's a rotary. There are arguments that can make it seem like a 4cyl, some for a 6, some like a boxer engine, but they are all wrong. It's a wankel. Learn to play with it.
