Ok wait a sec I’m re listening to these summaries and I’m glad I did because of the info that Al knows Echidna. What if Als authority isn’t a natural authority but a replicated version of return by death created by Echidna? Also terminology when “defining the matrix” seems to reference technology, in the web novel when Subaru stumbles upon ryuzus crystal it’s described as having something akin to magical circuitry. She already created her own “shadow garden” and seems to be familiar with return by death so it wouldn’t be a stretch to come to that conclusion.

Ight yeah I'll just say it. I get this is Re:Zero and a lot of characters have excuses for not dying, but like... can we just let Heinkel die here without Garfiel ex Machina. One thing about Re:Zero that I've really been disliking recently is Tappei's inability to kill off characters. Both Arc 7&8 were perfect opportunities to kill off a few characters due to the sheer amount that we got. Tanza should be dead and Heinkel should be dead. (Hell, even Jamal lived for some reason) *Also are we just not gonna talk about Satella's attack on Chaosflame lmao? That was a pretty massive incident that characters just don't seem to talk about, especially with Subaru's involvement* Nobody is questioning why or how Subaru just went unconscious and got blown off to the gladiator island.

In the anime we never really see anyone writing anyone's name down, maybe some signatures or crests? even if they have no memory of Crusch writing something, can't Subaru make a connection? Hindsight 20/20 maybe Edit: the letter from "Miss Crusch's household" being blank was an effect of gluttony? sorry if I overlooked something

When he was on the gladiator island it was implied to be a buff that made him mentally stronger. So hopefully he'll just grow up normally after this arc and end up with a new mindset.

Pretty sure its already explained Subaru wants to get back to his original size, but if he does then he'll lose the Battalion because one of the main reasons they trust Subaru right now is they think he's the prince. Subaru should hopefully get back to his original size either near the end of arc 8 or start of arc 9 (if not then the Emilia flirting is gonna get hella awkward ☠️)

ayo bruh check out this sick theory I just came up with. If Flugel is actually Subaru, then a cut scene from the anime gives us a lot of information. When Subaru first meets Minerva, in the light novel, he shouts "boobs". This shows that Subaru is very attracted to Minerva. If Subaru is Flugel, then Flugel is also attracted to Minerva. Satella must have known about this and became Envy, killing all of the witches, because she was jealous that Flugel was attracted to Minerva. (Flugel died because noob, and Subaru borned by Satella who accidentally reincarnated herself as Emilia. The reason Subaru loves Emilia and has shadow gardens is also because Satella (evny) did this to him. Puck is cat because, using the tome of wisdom, Echidna knew Otto is attracted to cats, and he actually stopped talking to Emilia, not because of Roswaal, but because Otto began to get closer to Emilia camp, and he was scared of being assaulted by Otto.)

So Al "supposedly" Met Echidna? This proves 2 theories, first the common theory where Al is 400 years ago.. Hes flugel and got amnesia blah blah.. The 2nd theory which i made, although i believe it may be completely wrong. My 2nd theory is based upon the information that Echidna centuries ago and Tea Party are different entities. So what if there is.. Or was a good Echidna something like in a Ryuzu clone form during Aldebaran's time that roams/roamed the world? So yeah.. by that i would also mean that the original echidna is split into a good ones and evil one.. The evil one was tea party. Well, i wont go much further with this theory because its uncertain whether it can even exist. Please correct me.

to me it feels like he met either scarfchidna which did not lost her memories yet, or the original one. he was tasked to find and help subaru (pure tsundere echidna style), but too much time passed and he ended up depressed that he will never succeed. he finally meet him and recognise he is really that subaru when in arc5 he made the speech. from that moment he is helping with all he has. somewhere between the task and subaru discover he had a chance to help satella but failed. also, its possible that flugel and satella are subaru and emilia sent in place of the original by pandora in their future fight where they lost to her.
