A couple more facts: The executive that greenlit Lost was Lloyd Braun and its his voice that says, "Previously, on Lost" at the beginning of each episode. lol as someone who watched LOST when it first aired. I think all of us that do love LOST and saw it long ago and waited each week for a new episode, read the lost magazines, talked in communities online about theories, and just got to reallly experience the whole lost experience. So when we sit down and try and watch the show with people now who are bingeing it they just will never quite fully realize how good it was to be a part of it when it was on each week and "previously on on LOST". It was one of those tv gems that don't come around a lot so when people see it for the first time in 2020 and onward, they just won't get that full body lost experience you got when it was first airing back in the day.

My first episode of LOST was an episode of the second season. I actually was offered extra credit on a test in college Political Science class if we could identify three characters named after philosophers in that episode (and what their philosophies were). I didn't have a TV, but I had iTunes. I was hooked. I binged all of the episodes from the first and second season and was a big fan from that point forward.

I cannot tell you how much I got excited and enjoyed this, I am a huge Lost fan and this brought so many memories, I can't count the number of times I rewatched the series and the best thing is to watch it with first timers and enjoy their reactions. When you are watching a show for the first time, as some of these people are, you don’t care if it was the most expensive pilot or where it was shot or any other thing about the production. Interest in those things only comes *after* you are hooked on the show and want to know more. Tell the guy in the numbers shirt that his love of the show is great and his desire to share all these details is admirable, but he also needs to be told that it might work against others enjoying the experience. Another rule that should be in place is that plot hints and things like “I love character X” or “I hate character Y” should be suppressed so that genuine, unbiased reactions can develop naturally. When a noob asks, “Will I find out Z in this episode?” the correct answer is, “We cannot tell you.”

Thank you. My dog died yesterday and i haven't been able to keep myself straight since, i've been with him pretty much all my life. Things are still fresh in my head, so i am really happy that LOST came out today! Ever since it appeared on the wheel, i've been wanting it, its my second favorite series of all time, only falling behind Walking Dead itself! I feel the hype and i only wish i could be there with you all to contribute to the screams! This was awesome to watch and it finally made me forget and laugh and smile.
