I can never tell if people like in this show are playing up for the character, or if they are actually this dumb. It creates a weird mind game where we try to figure out if people are actually this dumb, or just wanting to be famous. It makes it interesting in a weirdly sadistic way

Meat can be challenging when you're still learning how, especially if it's still on the bone. It's okay to go slow and steady with medium heat so that you cook the center without scorching the outside.

When I first started to try to learn how to cook three years ago, I LEGIT could have been on this show! It was watching this, in fact, that taught me to do basic stuff like chopping an onion. Ironically, it was because korean chefs explained things very patiently and slowly to foreigners that I started at that time watching korean cooking videos and learning to cook korean foods... I had no interest in korean culture before that. Now, three years later, I've even made my own kimchi from scratch! It's been a weird long path.

The fast way to peel the onions is to chop it in half then cut the top and peel and leave the bottom on for easy dicing into smaller chunks or cut it top and bottom off and peel for chopping big chunks.
