The older videos might seem a little funky, but I personally really really like the songs and the choreography. I hope you check out the more recent performances of these songs, you'll really see them in a new light. No More Dream is about young people following their own dreams rather than going for safer options (which is quite prevalent in Asian culture), as RM also sums it up in the end, "To all the youngsters without dreams". What is impressive to me about JK is that he had never rapped, sang or danced before becoming a trainee, yet he made the dance line, was named main vocalist, and was a sub rapper. Actually, I don’t think V had either. And we know that Jin didn’t. The others at least had experience in one area and were able to be so instrumental in teaching the others. I mean, think about learning to rap from RM and Suga , and having J-Hope and Jimin help you learn dancing. It’s a win/win combination! JK just talked about ”No More Dreams” on Suga’s show, “Suchwita”. He was watching something with the choreography and said he wanted to throw the remote. I'm four days late, but I just want to talk about how amazing they were, so I'm here 😂 Honestly, I've never seen anyone release such good music on their debut! Not just the production and sound (which are award-worthy), but also the message. For most artists who focus on socially conscious messaging, it takes a while to develop that path, but BTS were singing and rapping about the constraints of society and pressure on youth and defying expectations from the very beginning!!! It's genuinely so amazing to me how good they were. Also, the sound! They were all so talented even from their debut days, and somehow they got even better?!?! Yeah, just had to rant for a moment. Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. For ur 1st album Proof the anthology one is great for new army. There are 2 versions one is cheaper than the other. Amazon sells it, Target, Barnes & Nobles, and Kpop stores here in the states. Great song. So catchy. JK rapping is chef's kiss. When I 1st heard this i was like oh i like this. This one is a hit. Remember BTS debuted as a hip hop group. Their debut songs were catchy and they were cute. The rapline had promise. Yes, JK is a sub rapper. If u love rap and have listened to it all ur life u can see this is cringe. But for us who are not rap fans we liked this. It was catchy and still is catchy. I listen to all their rap and i don't even like rap like that. Listen to Tony Montana by Suga ft. Jimin pls special gift to us a 7 yrs back. And we just got an updated version that Sug army posted. Jimin can rap. They all can. And it's been almost 10 years since debut. snorts. Back than they did as the agency suggested. They did not know what they were doing. But they worked hard. Going to America during American Hustle Life 2014 they learned what real rap is. They grew from that experience a lot. They all trained for 3-2 years except Jimin. Jimin trained 6-8 months. Than they practice for this stage for 6 months. 12-16 hrs daily. They run on treadmills while singing. They had passion. They had drive and yeah they were angry. But they worked so hard and true army noticed. They grew slow and steadily but they always had more ppl then they predicted show up to concerts and other stuff. They truly are a gem of a group.
