As a Steeler fan I HATE the value we got back from the Diontae Johnson deal but yeah his antics have gone under noticed by National media. Punching Trubisky in the face, getting into it with Minkah in the locker room after a loss, and not giving any effort on a fumble recovery. I think this news gets around the league and that’s why we couldn’t get the value he’s perceived at around the media. Also Tomlin and Management historically know when to let receivers go so we will see how this plays out.

As a patriots fans I have been in total agreement with your take on “dont take a qb at 3” as soon as the season ended and my emotions settled down Belichick was the only reason that team won 4 games with an arguably worse roster then Carolina Rebuild the team and insert a qb later rather than putting a qb here setup to fail Fellow Patriot fans, welcome to the rest of the league, not every year has to be a winning season with top tier coaching, quarterback play, ect.

their other moves in the offseason have shown they want greg dortch to be more involved in the offense. they sign Deejay dallas to be the return man so dortch doesn't have to do it anymore, getting rid of rondale makes sense since you can't have 2 5'7 receivers out there. i totally get moving off rondale, moving off him for ridder? idk man. but the cardinals aren't gonna miss him very much

my guess is higbee will never play another snap. at least not as a ram. he had already had a rough year, and the rams are pretty quick to deal vets if they’re not playing up to standard. add that with the fact that the tight end room is loaded as it is, wouldnt be surprised if higbee is cut or traded, given he makes more money than their other TE options

I don't agree with the 9ers moves to this point, or at least I would have done differently. But there is plenty of reasoning behind their signings. Firstly, the contracts are easy to move off of need be. Chris Kocurek has developed plenty of d lineman like this in the past (Ebukam, Key, etc.) YGM is still very young, durable and versatile. Elliot was 6th in the league in run stops last year, and is still very young. Armstead was injured over the last two years, and has a lingering foot issue. Releasing him also clears up space in the future. Drake Jackson is coming back from injury as well, but still has only shown flashes.

About the Moses trade, I’m just glad we got something for him. We had to employ a tackle rotation by the end of last season cuz neither Moses nor Stanley could be trusted to consistently perform for multiple consecutive drives, which is a terrible position to be in tackle wise. Morgan Moses was not going to be in Baltimore by the start of next season, he would either have been cut or traded, hence he got traded.
