I am absolutely dyinggg for you to check out Chen’s studio covers on his channel. They are all recent (since he created his channel last year). His covers “Breath” and “All of My Life” are so good. Or for a recent live performance, “EXO PLANET #5 EXplOration in Seoul CHEN 첸 Light Out” (exact video title) is magical. It’s an Exo group song which he wrote, and he performed it for his solo stage in last year’s Exploration concert tour.

I really appreciate your reaction and i admire how you pin point the things that can help us esp me that I'm not a singer. We all know that EXO vocals are superb and hearing your fair comments is like im learning on it and yes not all the time they sang perfectly but as time goes by, i can attest how great EXO singers are. And to have BAEKHYUN, KYUNGSOO and CHEN in one stage, Lord i have a video of the three of them singing Paradise. I love LuHan voice too but i admit that it's not as powerful as to the three of them. You should check out the live performance of baby don't cry. I know Chen is known for his high notes, but I love his low notes even more. You may want to check out I'm not okay and Rainfall by Chen, but his low notes were more emphasized in Rainfall

There is one very small clip of them singing Open Arms acapella when they were at a Chinese variety show I believe. The four you saw here were all main vocals of Exo. Aaaaand they didn't really sing that long together before this performance. Baekhyun and Chen joined SM together 11? months before Exo debuted. 💞 Thank you for this reaction

You should look up Smtown's Open Arms version too! I think a lot of people forgot this (or don't know as newer fans), but Onew (Shinee) initially brought up the idea of covering that song several years ago for a few Smtown concerts and then handpicked Ryeowook (Super Junior) as well as Baekhyun and Chen (and I think BaekChen later talked in an interview about how shocked and honoured they were that Onew had asked them, especially since EXO had debuted only several months before) to be part of it with him. EXO then did their own cover on a few tv shows the following year. In short, we have Onew to thank for EXO's version of Open Arms. Unfortunately I don't think there are any clean, clear versions of the SMTown one, only some decent live fancams.

Yes, I LOVE Onew’s voice. Between EXO’s vocal line, Onew and Jonghyun (R.I.P.) of SHINee were the SM vocal kings. Their duet of Please Don’t Go is one of my favorite songs. Them performing it live on tour was absolutely amazing!

12:03 idk what happened to baekhyun's mic here but i liked it raw ❤ this performance was i think just a year or so after their debut, and it was mentioned in the guides how Baekhyun's & Chen's training period was the shortest, just a year (before debut), it amazes me how their skills were already this good 😭❤ and Chen definitely improved a lot to now, they all did but, objectively speaking, Chen is indeed the best (range & technique wise) in present time but i love baeksoo's voice and tone the most personally ♡

As a fan of both kpop and cpop, Luhan's voice sounds much better when he sings in Chinese. Part of that is the language difference, the Chinese language sounds quite smooth, with lots of 'shh' sounds, and cpop tends to focus on a rounder, smoother tone in terms of voice. I feel like kpop focuses on stronger/bolder/sharper voices and sounds. Not sure if I explained that very well, but just my opinion/what I've noticed
