My daughter ( 33 yrs old) is mentally challenged and is in a day program. In order for this program to be funded by the state they have to adhere to certain guidelines for these adults to be inclusive, involved in the community and have social outings. Yes, my daughter goes to the mall, eats in the food court and walks around the mall with a group. I live in Michigan, it’s hard to be outside in the winter for people ( many are in wheelchairs). I couldn’t even believe she said that …… I am 70 years old and my daughter still lives with me. She is non vocal so it’s hard for me to trust her care to someone else 24/7, as you can imagine.

Trust that the vast majority of people do not think the way that this one influencer does. What she said is absolutely disgusting and she deserves all of the flack that she is getting. Your child deserves to be anywhere she wants to be just like anyone else. Your child doesn’t exist for the comfort of others. If anything, people who think like Alex need to be shut away from society 😂. I can tell that you are a great mom and you’re doing a great job taking care of your daughter and that you love her very much. Thank you for commenting on my video.

My best friend has a downs daughter who is now in a care home as she is 54... a VERY long time!!! My friend literally gave up her life to care for her and has the most compassionate heart and soul. HRH would do good to spend time with my friend and learn to be humble. BTW, for 20+ years they were founding people in the special Olympics and spent many trips in Washington DC as California reps. ❤

Girl, you have no idea how much HRH pisses me off. I’m a Mexican hairdresser, I used to work in a Mexican hair salon, I’ve been going to Mexican hair salons my entire life, and my aunt is a Mexican hairdresser, so you can imagine how much that pisses me off. And you’re right. While we do sometimes use international products, they are SALON QUALITY PRODUCTS just like Paul Mitchell, Joico, Redken, and Matrix, to name a few. And furthermore, I would not have found out about Paul Mitchell, Joico, Redken, and Matrix among other brands had it not been for Latin salons, since that is what we use most of the time, anyway. I honestly have no clue how this girl sleeps at night. 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

The mall thing is insane actually. I wish she would stop for a second to recognize that the emotions that arise in her come from herself are not the fault of other people existing. Hey pretty girl! I've missed your reaction and hair videos these past couple of years. You really helped to fill a niche for me. It is so crazy how you expressed how I felt about Alex of the past vs present Alex to perfection. I also was a stan!! She has blown my mind. It was a like a slow burn break up. I was like you described in so many ways about Alex ex. a bit like what, but she's always been a bit like your off the rails friend, until she just went 2 far. I also unsubscribed for the exact reasons you stated, and I had no one to vent to about it, because no one in my day to day life watched her. Thank you for this video and the validation.

I felt the same lol because she is such a niche channel and is technically considered a micro influencer so many people don’t know who she is. Sadly, she’s becoming more popular because of her rants and lately she has gone too far. It’s no longer funny. It’s disturbing and also concerning. I genuinely hope she’s ok but also it’s not society’s responsibility to endure her bullsh just because she may or may not be going through something. That doesn’t give her an excuse to be an ass****

She started spiraling off the deep end years ago, but has gotten worse since being pregnant. I stopped watching her months ago. I just don't understand how any "normal" human being can think the way she does, it's absurd! Who knows, maybe after she gives birth she'll have an awakening. 🙏

As someone who is half black (American) and half Turkish, I definitely pick up on all the subtle microaggressions towards the black community and the Islamic community. Not religious myself, but my mom's side of the family is. Regardless, by extension, I pay attention to microaggressions towards other minority groups as well in this country, I can't stand to hear any of it and you definitely want the next generation to be better, but because we will always have people spreading this kind of rhetoric, discrimination will always exist. Thanks for sharing your perspective and being so mature about it, very relatable. Like many others below, have no idea who this person in question is, but happy to see you've uploaded.

Hello, Love your videos! I just want to give a little insight on the disabled at the mall. Many of those groups are at the mall with adult daycares or respite providers. These programs have certain obligations to meet to help the disabled develop their independent skills. The mall provides plenty of opportunities to help them understand all the options that are available to them while shopping; help them to have daily social opportunities with peers in their own communities; get exercise and/or experiencing an active outlet, etc. Also, they do spend money sometimes and going to places like the mall allows them to practice budgeting and understanding the concept of how much things cost in this changing world. I live in Colorado and it might be different where you live. I hope this helps.

16:40 Exactly what I was thinking. Most malls are the most basic place, even when they have some “higher end” stores. Malls have long been known for being a place grandmas go to mall walk, kids hang out and don’t buy anything except the food court. HGH’s issue definitely isn’t “these people don’t spend money.” This is a word used so much, that I avoid it, but that is some classic *ableism.* Gross. I never knew of HGH but what a piece of work! I wish more people thought the way you do. World would definitely be a better place.

It’s not about bringing your own product. I have clients who do this and I don’t mind (if anything it helps cut my overhead costs 😂). The issue with Alex is that she’s doing it because she thinks that because she’s going to a Mexican salon, that they are going to use some sort of pungent “international” product that she won’t like. It’s giving “Don’t eat your culture’s cuisine in the break room because the scent of it may be disturbing to others”.

I think so many moms don't get to stay home and develop that motherly personality, they have to go back to work and leave their children with others and that doesn't develop and it doesn't get passed on. You stayed home and were very focused, if I remember and understand accurately. I also had the ability to do the same with mine, so I feel a little bit an understanding of how you feel. Just a perspective to consider maybe? Motherhood is such an invaluable experiance that is taken for granted in our society, in my opinion. Hopefully she will mature after time with her own baby.

You came on my suggestions. First time viewer. 100% on your assessment of hrh...obviously she does for clicks but her handicapped comments were another level. I will watch her but usually click off. By the grace of god she has a "normal" baby... no one gets a guarantee.

I used to watch her videos regularly a long time ago before she took on her angry persona. Now they're just angry rants in between her showcasing her cheap jewelry. It's so draining listening to her screaming and getting all worked up over nothing. I was indifferent to her until I saw that video about the developmentally disabled people. That was the straw that broke the camels back. Now I flat out really dislike her..She even had the nerve to scream at the criticism she was imagining, saying "God would choose me over you!!!" I thought the exact same thing about her pregnancy and that it would have a change in her attitude. Wrong!

Imo the notoriety from saying controversial things got her thinking whatever she says is right (and profitable) as long as it's controversial, lol I sorta liked some of the controversial things she would say but this sounds wild 😭

Also wanted to add that i wish you could do the hair advice series again. But you got kids and a career so it's understandable

@@misspriss5589I am going to do hair advice! Even if I can only upload once a week. I realize that it’s better than nothing. When I take long breaks it’s because I’m over thinking my content ideas and become overwhelmed. But I’ve learned that perfectionism is a form of procrastination and I’m taking one video/idea at a time, one week at a time. So I am open to suggestions and happy to hear that this is something that you would like to see!

I completely get what you say about how becoming a mother changed you! I also feel like i used to be tough and i would hardly cry, now i get teary over so many things and can't help but imagine if that was my baby. Motherhood does change you, hopefully it will for her also.

Same. I was empathetic before but now it’s on another level. I cry SO MUCH thinking about children around the world being unsafe. It’s too much for me to handle and it’s so sad because I think my my children in those scenarios and I just can’t deal. Before kids, it was sad. After kids, it’s beyond sad and I can’t even find the words. It’s tragic.
