The Dove Beauty Bar, while a cleansing product like traditional soap, is unique in that it contains mild cleansers and moisturizing cream. This combination is intended to clean the skin without stripping it of its natural moisture, making it milder and less harsh than many traditional soaps. The formulation is specifically crafted to be gentle on the skin, making it suitable for daily use on both the face and body.

Something that helps, is to make it as easy for yourself as possible. Try to keep everything in reach that you need to shower and to make you feel good ! and as orderly and organized as you can. Not being hyper about it but just try to make it really easy for you. And try to remember how delicious and wonderful your body feels when that water is on it. God bless you girls!

About the dove beauty bar, she means it's not good for a base clean because it so moisturizing. Doesn't really strip the dirt and oils off. Use it after you base clean like you would a body wash. To add moisture back.

Personal preference with the chlorophyll is to mix it with parsley and mint (I use extracts/tinctures). That worked wonders and helped my digestive system so much, and this is coming from someone who's had their gallbladder removed. Also, I hate shaving personally so I definitely love buying sugaring paste from Amazon for like more sensitive areas (underarms, stomach, and bikini) and epilator for my legs and arms.

I think what the girl meant in the video about dove being a beauty bar is you use it after you use a cleansing bar/ soap. For ex. you would use a Dr. Bronner's soap first, then go in with the dove bar bc it's a moisturizing and not necessarily a cleanser. (Hope that makes sense! 💗💗)

I only use the fragrance free dove beauty bar on my face&kewchie. It’s a cleanser just not as cleansing as a standard body wash. I use it on sensitive areas. I use sensodyne “gentle whitening alpine breeze” toothpaste it’s gentler than any traditional toothpaste I have tried and my teeth feel stronger when I use it. Protecting the enamel and keeping them clean is more important than making the teeth super white.

@elenatd9815
@elenatd9815 Жыл бұрын
@@Madeleine452 Unless you work in medical fields, plumbing, dusty/oily environments, no reason to double cleanse the body, if you shower daily, no need, maybe after missing some showers, illness etc. In medical you gotta use betadine soap and then probiotic lotion. Otherwise some good bacteria needs to live on the skin to keep good hygiene, balance, and neutral smell. I use CeraVe salicylic or CeraVe acne on upper body acne prone areas(upper arms, back) and dove sensitive/original or drunk elephant kamili on the rest of the body. Using dial, dove or dr bronner on acne areas will clog pores, theese soaps have lotions or the bronner has a ton of olive oil. For the vulva I use the Jessa intimate cleanser from Dm(Deutsch Market here in Europe) it is a german cleanser that is so well formulated. I sometimes use the french Biosince calendula intimate soap bar also very well formulated. For usa I think the vh essentials is nice, couldn't order it in Romania. I don't like the "use facewash down there", you need a bit of antibacterial agent on the outside, where bad bacteria oxidation happens. I was thinking of trying the Australian tea tree intimate wash also. Dove antibacterial shower gel is so good for the backside. Also, no reusable washable cloths for the backside, use a medium/big cotton pad as a disposable "washloth". I do double cleanse my face at night with the bioderma atoderm oil for 7-8 years now it is really good. Also in the summer when taking multiple showers a day, the atoderm shower oil is a good non drying wash. The KP bump eraser scrub IS LIFE, once a week. I prefer unscented stuff for most of the time, it also helps you evaluate your hygiene better, scented lotion on date nights is the way to go. But no lotions and oils on acne prone areas, use an acne moisturizer gel like CeraVe acne gel

I completely agree with the body oil straight out of the shower. Putting oil or lotion on my wet skin makes me feel icky!!!! I hate it. I know supposedly if you’re still a little damp it absorbs or keeps the moisture in better but i just can’t with the feeling. I dry off , moisturize, and then seal in my moisturizer with an oil.

i think the reason why she said floss picks distribute bacteria around your teeth is because with string floss you use a new section for each tooth because you kind of slide the floss around your fingers (which is why you're supposed to use like 45cm so you have enough length to use a new section for each tooth you know) but with floss picks you're using the same string for each tooth. But with me, i rinse the floss pick off in hot water after each tooth. idk if hot water is getting rid of the bacteria but at least i'm rinsing it off.

Heyy! New Subbie 🙌🏽 Great video .. Two things I wanted to mention, I learned for the foot scrub to not use the one that has the grater but instead stick with the one that is more like a pumice stone scrubber texture .. also when you mentioned that your skin was having problems after you layered it with so many moisturizers .. and I feel you on that ! I feel like that is something that also is rarely ever talked about. Also, There are so many body butters that have coconut oil and oils that may be on the comedogenic scale and that really clogs my skin so I can understand how the layering of all the products can definitely possibly do the same thing

When she said use the beauty bar she worded that really awfully…I think she meant: use the dove beauty bar LAST in the shower. Some people (if they double cleanse) use dove bar 1st, then some other cleanser. Use the dove bar as final cleanse because it is so moisturizing and doesn’t clean super well. Then you will leave shower being somewhat still moisturized.

The dove bar soap under FDAs definition isnt considered soap bc its not harsh. So a beauty bar is just a take on words for marketing. Dove is definitely still a cleanser and no you don't need to use it after another soap. Remember technically all skin is sensitive. That's why it's best to use gentle cleansers so you won't mess up your skin. ❤

any stimulating oil that has a "stinging" and "fresh" feel will grow your hair because it stimulates blood flow, which all those caffeine products are trying so hard to do. just use tea tree oil, menthol, rosemary oil or any other fresh oil. and add it into any shampoo. also, to clean your ears daily without getting any water inside or uncomfortably being too invasive with cotton swabs, just buy a clearing toner, put it on a cotton pad and thoroughly massage it into the ear and behind it. your ears will feel so clean. specially in the crevices. for the bellybutton, you can buy peroxide cleaning solution for wounds at any pharmacy. i use it because i have a stomach piercing. it prevents infections. these hacks will also save you money over time.

6:51 nooooo cuz water and oil doesn’t mix that great and yes I know most of these products have all kinds of emulsifiers and so they are made to be able to use with water but it does still feel super strange. If you get to a point where you are a bit wet but not dripping all over the place this is the ideal time to go in and it’s doable for me this way. But most the time I agree there’s just something about it I don’t like. I’ve considered a wet lotion like jergens but idk… if I’m using lotion may as well put it on once I’m dry.

My dentist says that they prefer sting floss because it gets into the crevasses more than a pick floss, but they also said that pick floss is way better than no floss. I’ve never heard of it spreading bacteria so idk about that. I do know that some whitening toothpaste is really abrasive to teeth, mostly charcoal ones. And as for fluoride, I haven’t done too much research on the negative effects but I know it is important for many things. It builds a strong layer for the outside of your teeth so they get less sensitive and it’s really good for when you chemically or have a dentist professionally whiten your teeth because that process is also very abrasive and it makes your teeth sensitive because it makes your teeth more porous than they usually are. The fluoride will help plug those pores so that they don’t hurt when you eat or drink because the pores lead straight to the nerve. I am not a professional btw I’ve just had this talk with my own dentist/orthodontist

Yes, whitening toothpaste is usually just toothpaste with tiny abrasive particles in it. The idea is to scrub your teeth clean. It's extremely damaging to your teeth because you're scratching and scrubbing off your enamel. Using a toothbrush (which is an abrasive in itself) is already enough. And yes, you shouldn't use a toothbrush with hard hairs. No, fluoride is essential to keeping the enamel strong. So you absolutely need to use a toothpaste with fluoride. I've heard of an alternative ingredient before but there's not enough research on it to say it can replace fluoride.

Hey! About the scrub to shave down there. I’ve heard Scrubee from Lush Cosmetics is good. Scrubee is a solid bar of cocoa and shea butter that, as you rub it, will moisturize very deeply. But it also has ground coconut shells and ground rice i believe, so it will scrub you too, but not too roughly because it’s JAM PACKED with cocoa and shea butter Obviously, this won’t be for everyone, and it might be a bit too rough, so you can ask them for a sample at Lush to try it out, see what works for you. If not for shaving down there, it’s original intended purpose was to be a body scrub in the shower. Just to let y’all know!! (ps. Lush also has salt scrubs, but those can be a bit intense and they are all fragranced, so use at your own risk haha)
