Wow! First I want to say you lend a lot of credibility to this because your hair is beautiful! Second you are a really good teacher, and explain things very well. And you do so nicely with humor. Also, you look amazing and happy, prayers for your continued recovery 🙏 I look forward to seeing more of your videos so I can get more soft clumps and curls as opposed to sticky ramen noodles lol

thank you for that tip about adding some more product with water to help rehydrate those stretched out waves. I’ll definitely be using it from now on!!

I use both damp and soaking wet hair routines depending on the day. For my 3B curls, either works. The sopping wet give wider, more open spirals instead of the tighter rings I prefer 🤷🏼♀️

And that makes perfect sense!! More water generally produces larger/wider clumps, so for a smaller tighter spiral, slightly more damp styling would give you the results you prefer :) I generally do a wet-damp hybrid - moisturize & define soaking wet, then microplop and apply my hold product on damp hair!

Loved it! Awesome job on suggestions and reasoning behind them. I have low porosity hair and my hair perfers damp style but after watching this and hearing your reasoning I think I've been letting my hair get TOO dry instead of damp...thanks for the tip!

Hi Angela! I just have to say Bless them for trying! I can see so many of the mistakes I made in the beginning as well. Hopefully they will see your video and appreciate your advice. In the end, Anna Laura's (sp) hair looked so nice and I learned practice makes perfect. @Kayley Melissa should check out India Batson's videos. India's hair is long and wavy like Anna Laura and she is fun to watch.

I actually got a chance to chat with Anna Laura - she loved the video!! And India is also a great source; she’s so fun to watch!

I'd love to see a treluxe review. My hair doesn't like coconut oil, at least not in any leave in/styler (shampoo/conditioner can be ok if I rinse thoroughly), so the 4 in 1 hydrating creme doesn't look appealing, but I'm trying to decide if I want the gel and reflex styling serum

TreLuxe is definitely on my list of products to try! Y’all will be the first to know when I do 🤗

Some people really do have small curl families, though. :) I've tried making my clumps 'bigger' and it looks absolutely terrible (maybe because my hair is lower density?). I finally realized that my hair texture is smaller curl families, and that's okay!
@TheFitCurls3 жыл бұрын
Oh absolutely!! All clumps are good clumps, be they small or giant :)

I loved her one month update, but I have seen AL in some recent videos with straight hair, so I'm guessing she decided to no continue with this, which made me kind of sad, but to each their own
@TheFitCurls3 жыл бұрын
I saw that too! I hope she still decides to let the waves out every so often - they’re so beautiful! 💛
@atmreads3 жыл бұрын
She's actually said that she does wear her hair natural, but she still chooses to straighten it sometimes. (Mostly for hairstyling videos, so that they don't mess up her waves/curls)
