This cinematic is probably showing the essence of Noxus, which is basically the survival of the strongest being manipulated by the Black Rose and Leblanc. Young Darius being sent to a suicidal mission in Freljord, only to come back stronger, Katarina being lured into an assassination mission(note that the target is not mentioned in Leblanc’s board), only to be met by the Rose’s member Elise, and finally Mel looking for answers after her mother was manipulated to go to Piltover. Leblanc is constantly moving the pieces on the board for her own reasonings

Mel was in the same place where a pregnant young Ambessa fought in the Blood sweat and tears cinematic. Leblanc and the Black Rose weren’t responsible for destroying Piltover. In fact, they were trying to stop Ambessa because in her lust for power, although she was doing it out of love for her family as she stated is her drive behind everything, she was about to create mass murder. We saw what happens if Viktor won and Ambessa was supporting that. “Calamity is always approaching, in some moments its arrival is more imminent than others” I don’t know what Leblancs goals are but it’s clear she’s 10 steps ahead of everyone else right now. Mel is an empath mage and maybe that’s what gave her the edge to see Leblancs true face in the finale.

Ambessa wanted to rule Noxus and was against the Black Rose. Leblanc always knew this and did things to prevent Ambessa from getting power wherever she goes. Because Ambessa is ignorant about the true Danger of things. Leblanc is gathering power, Artifacts, Forces because Mordikaiser is coming back. His resurrection will mean destruction for Noxus and runeterra. Leblanc isn't good, she is no Hero, but Her and the Black rose are why Mord hasn't arrived yet. The last image is possibly the Darkin Dagger Nafiri before she became a Wolf which is why Vlad is against it. He knows Mord is a threat but the Darkin are just as Dangerous and he doesn't want to Risk it unlike Leblanc. Vlad personally knows the dangers of dealing with Darkin. Possibly Mel is doing the same Mistake as Ambessa, fighting the Evil Black rose but not knowing she is potentially putting the world in Danger with Mords return.

Theory time:My thoughts are that this is a younger Darius, years before the establishment of the Trifarix. Maybe right after he has become the Hand of Noxus. Darius is going to have a new axe! He's gonna get the fat one from 2XKO, the Runeterra based fighting game that is supposed to come out late this year! I also think that the Silken Dance( the masquerade that Katarina fought Elise in) isn't a one time game event, but rather a Black Rose tradition used to conduct sensitive business and scout new possible members. I think Arcane happens much earlier on the timeline than most fans think and that the next show should pick up with Mel and her return to Noxus as matriarch of the Mardardas. Boram Darkwill should still be ruling Noxus, and this should be before the the 1st invasion of Ionia. Singed being a wanted man in Piltover-Zaun has also fled to Noxus, where he will be recruited by their military to make weapons. The main storyline should be what is going on in Noxus during the Ionian invasion, Darkwill's fall, and the rise of the Trifarix. I want this to be about 4 seasons. I think Rell should be introduced as Mel's unknown twin! I think that would be interesting. Ambessa should have been the person running the Black Rose's mage School/weapons project. It was deal she made with LeBlanc in order to add mages into her bloodline. According to the deal, she was to give all arcane gifted children to the Black Rose for training, but she hid Mel's power instead and sent her to Piltover partially for that reason. We might get a few scenes of the war because the latter half of this show, Seasons 3 & 4, take place during the Ionian invasion, but it shouldn't really focus on that, the main plot should still focus inside NoxusI I would have the next show after Noxus, be in Demacia. It would be 5 seasons. S1 would start about a year or so before the Noxus show ends. It would set up characters like Lux, Garen, Jarvan IV, Sylas, and Fiora, as well as have major flashbacks to Targon with the story of Pantheon, Kayle, and Morgana. S2-S4 would address the system of the mageseekers, continue progression of the Kayle/Morgana story, give side stories for Shyvana and Fiddlesticks and show the creation of Galio. S5 would have the full outing of Lux as a mage and the full Mage Rebellion. In the very last episode Jinx would show up to help Demacia rebuild and restructure their society and start to build a life long friendship with Lux. This canonically should start around the same time as the last year of Arcane's story, Outside of flashbacks, this should be about a 5 year story. Sometime after the Noxus show ends, but before the Demacia show does, a theatrical movie release should happen. It should be a story about Jinx in a Bilgewater adventure. That is where she headed after leaving Piltover-Zaun. After a high speed, adrenaline pumping, gun blazing pirate adventure with Miss Fortune, and being tested by Illoai, she should head to Demacia. The events of this movie should happen a few weeks after the events of the Ruin King game. They could introduce Nilah here and coincide a new champion drop ingame with Jack, The Winner! He's a badass Sharkman who made some unknown deal with Tahm Kench. Also, in Legends of Runeterra, a digital TCG, Miss Fortune has a monkey idol that is stated to have been taken by her from some old enemy. Also, there is a slot machine robot that had a 3 bomb jackpot and it actually blew up the 1st time someone hit the Jackpot. They've since fixed the robot but removed the bomb function.. I think it would be cool if Jinx was the original designer of the robot and made the idol in a buhru temple.

This cinematic is for the League of Legends game. They're going with a theme each season, 3 season per year. This implies that we're getting a narrative style cinematic each season like this one. So in 3-4 months we might get a cinematic for Demacia for season 2 then Ionia for season 3.

Fun fact the game actually used to have the zoomed in 3rd person perspective but Riot started banning that from the developers. It's also not possible to see the environment and fights happening around you would be missed. It's almost unplayable being zoomed all the way in.

Riot has confirmed multiple times that this is in no way a trailer for anything further as far as shows go. The shows cost too much money and give them NOTHING in return. I have a feeling its kinda for both; especially since we see a most likely younger darius here (missing his bigger physic and scar over his left eye) and the fact he is in Feljord. This would make so much sense since Arcane takes place 10 years before LoL + The character models are nothing like any of the in game ones, except for trundle and elise looking kinda like one of her skins. I feel like it's a teaser for the leaked Noxian tv series while also being a hype builder for their upcoming season since they are the same subject.
