I only just came back in December, after going on hiatus all fall. I’m still not doing super well, but I have set myself better boundaries and am putting my mental health first. Thank you so much for your concern though, it genuinely means alot to me 💜

I poke fun at my old animations because they are bad IN COMPARISON to what I make now. That doesn’t mean they were bad, objectively, and that doesn’t mean yours are bad! If you’re a new animator, you have every right to be proud of what you do, and while I haven’t seen them myself, I am sure you are great! Even if maybe, in the future once you’ve been animating longer and have improved your art and techniques, and maybe look back at your old animations and see them as bad in hindsight, that may also not be the case! You may look back and still love them! And just acknowledge that you love your new ones even more!! 💜 Don’t let people talking down about their own art- or new artists get you down. I’m proud of you for working so hard to animate and I see greatness in your future! I’ve got your back.
