I wouldn't say Smurfette was "evil", but she was created by Gargamel to cause jealousy within the Smurf village. She, however, decided she wanted to be a real Smurf; so, Papa Smurf I guess cast a spell that would make her good. Her blonde hair would indicate the change from bad to good.

Dash shows us that he is a man with culture and that South Park creators are smart guys who know how to use references from movies and TV shows in every episode and not giving everything for granted. I've always enjoyed South Park, but with Dash I enjoyed it even more because I learn about these references I wasn't aware of.

Wendy and Cartman have such a funny dynamic- in the earlier seasons they played around with the idea of them liking each other like in Chef Goes Nanners but thereafter they absolutely cannot stand each other (usually because of Cartman being a dick)

It's funny that they nailed the "Avatar is just Dances With Wolves with alien smurfs" point, despite this episode being released BEFORE Avatar was. I know they managed it for their Lord of the Rings parody (Dash has GOT to react to it!) but at least the books were there for reference in that case. All they had were the trailers to go on, and they still hit the mark.

My absolute favorite part of this episode, and I'm so surprised you didnt point it out!!!, is Butters reaction to when Gordon Stolski was getting killed. All the other students are just listening looking confused or bored, but Butters is absolutely horrified and about to have some sort of mental breakdown 😸 The only thing better is that Clyde doesn't even react at all, he just sits doing his work quietly like nothing is even happening haha.
