For those who still don't know : at 17 Ren contracted Lyme disease...was MISdiagnosed as having "mental issues"...given psychotropic meds that wrecked his physical and mental health...finally received correct diagnosis and is still in treatment (maybe for life)............

He is more then that. Check out his 1 million subscriber thank you speech ! That should give you a idea of the man ! And on his u tube he has 209 songs. Should listen to a few, Everybody drops is good , Humble, Life is funny !! just a few !Ren has been through some nasty shit, I copied this and post it on new reactors messages. He was bitten by a tick when he was 16 or 17 He got really sick from it and went to doctors and they could not figure what was wrong with him. When he had joint pain, muscle spasms, skin rashes, boils, internal organs started shutting down, And Doctors had no idea what was going on. He was loosing weight and had constant fatigue could not even stand to shower.. Doctors started sending him to psychological evaluations, They told him his mind was making him sick ! And started treating him for that with some heavy pharmaceuticals. And all that shit really fucked with his mind, He started believing he was crazy. And this went on for 8 fucking years !! 8 YEARS !! He pursued his own symptoms and lead to a Doctor that gave test for Lyme disease. Where he lived it was very rear to ever contract Lyme disease so he was never tested. When he went in described his symptoms the Doctor knew what he had. Ran the DNA test and found it in his system. However it has been in there for 8 years and has done a lot of damage to his body. He can only eat like 6 things his bones still hurt and the autoimmunity may never be healed. He had to go into surgery to remove tissue to generate stem cells grown outside his body then under go treatment taking the stem cells to remove the Lyme disease chromosome. That was in LA then he went to Calgary and under going treatment on the damage the Lyme left.. He is still there until June. Welcome to Ren he is a talent I have never seen. And I have seen a LOT !! He has 209 songs on u tube no joke I pretty much like them all new and old !!

For REN, this was truly his reality. Ren had misdiagnosed Lyme disease for 7 years by conventional doctors who deemed him mentally ill, but when patients are experiencing neurological symptoms, they very often become misdiagnosed. Lyme disease can present itself as many neurological conditions including Acute Transverse Myelitis[3], Ptosis[4], Seizures, and Chronic Fatigue[1] and these symptoms can be often misdiagnosed or deemed psychosomatic. Second is dealing with the symptoms of Lyme neuroborreliosis, these neurological symptoms often leave patients feeling drained and debilitated as they begin losing their quality of life. Over time, patients find themselves unable to do the things they love as they struggle to get ahead of their progressing symptoms.

After 4 start to finish takes the landlord of the building discovered them and insisted they get out. Normally Ren does at least 20-30 start to finish takes. He worried a ton since he was due to leave in 2 weeks for intensive medical treatments in Canada. Yet they got what it took to satisfy Ren. Ren writes his own music and lyrics, directs and produces his own videos with his cameramen friends. This was done before Ren became so popular. So their budget was very tiny. Until Moneygame 3, he rarely spent more than £1,500 on any video. The very 1st 1-take live video he did with Samuel Perry-Falvey, they did 180+ start to finish 1-takes before Ren and crew were satisfied. Learning as they created. In live interviews with a variety of Reactors Ren has discussed this.

Oh man... I don't know that I'd ever tell someone "this will blow your mind!!", I'd rather say something that doesn't give it away, but is encouraging. I mean, the end result with Ren is almost always blown away for a variety of reasons, the man is musically gifted, ridiculously unconventional, and really, really hard to categorize, aside from "talented artist with mad skills and insane mental acuity" or bardcore... or just a Ren-aissance.

You should check out the Tales trilogy . It's about 13 minutes long but it's genius . Search for the Tale of Jenny and Screech ( the 13 minute version will include Violets Tale as well ).

According to an interview Ren had with the Charismatic Voice, it was one vocal line but the rest was frankensteined together from the four takes they did. He was happy his internal metronome was working since they only 30 minutes to do the 4 takes. He thought he had missed the chance to video the song. He worked it and sent it to a friend who was dumbstruck by the video and let Ren know it was amazing. Ren is sort of a film first and ask forgiveness later artist. The landlord let them have the 30 minutes to film and then they had to be gone.

@@setonhillstudios Ren comes into these filming sessions knowing the material front, back, upside down and sideways from tons of practicing. He prefers to be able to do at least one okay take and then try to make a better one. Didn't have that luxury on this day.

I can’t imagine liking an artist to the point of searching out reaction videos and then getting mad that someone is doing them, discovering and enjoying the music. Ren is such a small number out of the total videos on our channel and is highly requested, but sure we’re desperately monetizing him ✌🏼
