I screamed when Jett and Niall reprised the Take It to the Top Internationals' A-Troupe choreo as a duet!!! 😍😍😍 Logically, it makes zero sense that they know it (unless Eldon taught it to them off-screen in S9), but the OG fan in me was dying of happiness!!! 😍🤩😍🤩 I think it's a great indicator that Jett and Niall are worthy to be a part of the new Internationals A-Troupe cuz the OG Internationals A-Troupe did that choreo, so if Jett and Niall can do it, it's like acknowledgement that they're Internationals worthy A-Troupe as well! 😍😊 Love ittttt

Why should knowing a choreography from the nationals competition make no sense?... It has probably been shown on television and tapped. Someone can have used it as a training choreography.

@@kristianbjrnjensen5388 Because it wasn't performed at Nationals or Internationals. It was performed exclusively in Studio A following Internationals, in 4x01 in Season 4. Neither Niall or Jett was at The Next Step when the Internationals A-Troupe performed it. It was not televised.

Honestly i feel the same way abt a troupes reaction to heath being kicked off. I dont get how no one questioned it because heath is one of their best and most experienced dancers so theres no way none of them would be a little suspicious. And the fact that heath was so cool abt it was so bizarre. Ariana literally said he would be soloist then shortly after she kicks him off the team and heath isnt confused or upset? Alsooo how was nick not involved in any of this? He would definitely not agree with cutting heath. I dont rlly like how much responsibility the dance captain has had in these past couple seasons bc theyre basically doing what the studio head should be doing. Like why did it look like ariana was doing paperwork in this episode when shes literally a student at this studio? I didnt mind it as much when it was kenzie bc at least she had experience being the dc at tns, but ariana has been at the next step for like maybe a month or two and all of a sudden theyre putting all of these responsibilities on her that would require u to know ur fellow dancers well. I also know she was dc at ultra elite but that doesnt instantly mean she knows whats best for a troupe. I understand her having a say in these decisions but nick or even eldon should definitely be assisting her. (Or really the other way round) Anyways i thought the plot twist was rlly good too, it was definitely the highlight of the episode. I did not see that coming. I hope grace does something rlly horrible to the team later on the season that gets built up to well. Now that she knows that they were able to figure out she sent the letter i think it would make sense for her to do something even worse thats even harder to bounce back from. And now that ariana has left (even though we know shell be back), i think anthony will be dc for a bit bc he came second in the dance captain competition and that must be why eldon yells at him bc he might make a bad decision or smth. Also justice for ethan, he wasnt in this ep. Even though hes been on the show since s7 i feel like he hasnt been in a plot where weve seen hia character shine and i rlly hope he has his moment later on. Wow, this was a rlly long comment haha

I was so proud of Ariana for finally having the courage to confess to the team at the end. That was definitely my favourite part after the dilemma she’s had in deciding to follow Grace or A Troupe. I really wanted more reactions from A-Troupe though. I hope we get more in the next episode because I liked how betrayed Jett and Olive felt in their talking heads. I need to know how Heath will feel going forward because they all gave her death stares when she emotionally confessed. As for Grace writing that fake Internationals letter, I didn’t see that coming either! That was a huge shocker to me too. I think Grace has fully solidified herself as a great villain now. Not only is she one step ahead of A-Troupe but she’s also keeping secrets from Ariana to further benefit their scheming. She’s not even on A-Troupe and she’s already creating more damage than Amanda. I love it. I’m actually glad Ariana didn’t mention Grace because it will allow her to keep scheming for a bit longer until she eventually gets found out. I’m living for Grace’s scheming though as she’s out for blood. And I agree that it’s very different to the way Amanda schemed which I love. There’s enough differentiations which makes this fresh. I’m just curious to know what Grace will do next now that she doesn’t have Ariana anymore. I liked that Kenzie and Pete figured out the fake letter. But once again Nick is MIA. Like where is he?😭 There’s no excuse for his absence either as Moxie has not been mentioned at all in this season. I also do like that Jett mentioned Lucien and Maria as potential schemers for the letter. Good to know that they’re still on TNS’ radar.

What I love about Grace, is that she's so amazingly well written, like she's so manipulative and often very two-faced and I've said it before but Brianna plays her so well too. I still feel like her motivation is a little odd, but she's an amazing villain/antagonist.

This definitely isn’t the first time they’ve repeated titles. “I Hope I Get It” was used in Season 2 and again in Season 3. “Can’t Fight This Feeling” used in Season 1 and again in Season 3. Then of course “Pointe Of No Return” was the season 5 finale and this episode. I can’t remember any others, but it’s possible there are more.

I applaud the writers for that letter plot twist, like that letter had me fuming cause it made no sense lmao. I just wish we saw more reaction from the team about it too. Honestly, we're missing the reactions and discussions about things going on, instead of skipping right over it and everyone acting like they're ok for the most part.

I've gotta say jett and niall ate that duet uppp! it was so good and I instantly noticed it was the take it to the top choreo from S4 😅 im really sorry I just don't feel like we've had development for pascale and heath, like I really shipped daisy and heath, but we'll have to see what happens with these two now because it just feels very very random. and I do definitely agree that the team should have flipped out at heath being kicked off, like I'd be throwing hands 😭 i KNEW the letter was fake I even commented in a previous video before 9B was released that there was a theory on TikTok that the letter was fake and i then was convinced it was, so im glad I was right, but grace is so evil to do that 💀 I don't think grace is an Amanda 2.0 now, but she's also very much how like Tess and lucien were. they both manipulated Amanda and made her do all those things and she then grew to like TNS. so her story kinda fits in with Ariana when you think of it. Tess was the one who literally made Michelle get in trouble with the police for stealing from a shop HOURS before her nationals solo. also daniel and lucien when they meddled with the international battles and put the names into the hat so Riley and James would go against each other, like are ppl forgetting there have been so many "villains" on tns that have messed with a troupe 😭😭 and ella stealing Riley's solo was the final straw because although it backfired for her as England eventually lost internationals, it was such a shock moment still and a below the belt move. AND WHERE IS NICK! why haven't why learnt TNS writers learnt their lesson from nick going to Bora Bora in season 8, that we need the studio head in the building at all times 😭

idk, if they did auditions this episode it would ultimately be a waste of time, and we've had so many audition episodes on tns, i'm kinda glad this wasn't another one. And while I think Ariana should call out Grace, i like how she did an apology without it being her excusing herself so that a-troupe feels sorry and welcomes her back. Also i really liked Kate's acting in the past 2 episodes, she's been visibly anxious and shaking, it felt like she reached the breaking point. This was actually my favourite episode.

Man the dance captions get more and more like a studio head like like in the first few season they would choreograph a little because their was already a choreographer and help clean dances and but now their choosing the alternates like the studio head used to do that and know it’s basically the dance captins office. Does kenzie gets paid cause she does everything

I love this episode. I feel like Anthony had an advantage dancing to the same song he did in Season 8 with Alternate Auditions with the song Ahead of Our Time during the alternate auditions. I agree with you I feel like the alternates needs to be based on who is more well rounded and can pick up all of the choreography in case a dancer gets injured or has a personal matter they need to take care of. Grace is really embracing the evil character this season and I'm loving it. Grace's character was so well written this season. I love Jett being involved and I enjoyed Niall and Jett's duet. I feel like Niall should've make his moves more sharper and cleaner in the Hip Hop section of Take it To the Top. I'm really enjoying Pascale and as well Heath. I'm loving the dynamic of Pascale and Heath. I feel like Heath should have been mad at Ariana for kicking Heath off of A Troupe and as well as the rest of A Troupe. Where is Ethan, let me guess in the graveyard. I was expecting all of A Troupe to be in this episode working on Internationals routine and so far nothing has been done. Where is Nick and Eldon, shouldn't they be managing the studio since Kenzie is still in France. I love Pete and Kenzie'e scenes. I love Pascale's solo, it was incredible. I'm looking forward to your next reaction video.

This for me is another flat season with so many mistakes. We never had anyone ask how or who could fake the letter. The auditions seem all over the place. Nick as a studio head hardly there. Not talked about many dances for nationals much. No proper working out of what dances, asking who wants to audition for what. Most plots for me seem not thought through enough and a bit of a mess. You can tell the budget for this season is less. I am not okay with the idea of some of the internationals competition done at A troupe studio nor of some of the nationals plot twists. I don't like how people did not confront Ariana when she told them how she tried to bring the team down or how they didn't react more to Heath at the time being kicked off the troupe. If it was A troupe from season 1-7 I feel they would have kicked off big time over it all and even asked Ariana if she was working alone to bring the team down or not. They would have gone straight to the studio head. They should have at least thought oh, was it an ultra elite plot to bring down the studio especially as Lucien had tried it before. They never asked Ariana did she fake the letter about one dancer being kicked off the team. Then ask does she know who did it, says no but looks sus so Heath giving his suspicions about Grace. I am sorry but for me so far the season is sloppy, a bit boring, seems rushed filming wise with plots not finished. Why did Daisy not say oh my bo staff gone did anyone take it? Why not tell the dance captain, Nick the studio head. Nick could have had A troupe do a studio search then locker search by Nick with A troupe watching. In season 1 when Emily told Kate Michelle was bullying her and sent nasty texts Kate checked Michelle's locker. In Season 3 when Emily told the team Amanda stole the money A troupe had for going to internationals Kate searched Amanda's locker then Emily's. I like to pretend season 4 never happened as I didn't like it but, to be honest I am not liking season 9 nor did I like season 8. As much as I don't like season 4 it was better than 8& what we have seen of season 9 in my opinion. I'm wondering if others think the next step is going downhill and should be stopped after season 9. Also I wonder how many people who watched the show when it first aired are still watching it or how many people watching it now watched the first few seasons. The show is not executing storylines to the point I get excited over them or I am shouting at my screen wanting to know what happens next. The show has lost its edge, its sparkle. I am doubting if the show will do anymore world tours. I would think it would not have the budget for it. I would love it if they did. I went to two of their live shows in Dublin. It was to be three but a course I was doing switched a presentation for my final from the day before TNS live show to the morning after it. So I went to their first and last live show in Dublin. I still have my, the next step wild rhythm tour t-shirt hanging in my wardrobe. I'm wondering why the cut in funding for the next step when it was so popular. Obvious from how the episodes are now the budget was cut big time. I'm peeved big time they are not going to a different location for international even saying Canada is hosting it and using a different studio as international headquarters for this year.

i think your forgetting that nick is only just the studio owner !! he’s not meant to make the big dance decisions , that would be made by the studio head, so that’s probably why the dance captains always are in the office, because their also playing the role as the studio head

Now that I've watched all the episodes I've been catching up with your reactions! It's Grace's scheming that I love so much. I think she's great! I think it'd make a tonne of sense if Ariana was the Internationals Soloist so that she proves herself in a way. I do love Pascale and I think she's an amazing dancer but I hope there's more to her plot... If her team have turned on her then she must've done something really bad. She's gonna need a redemption arc...

I mean I understand auditioning for alternate in all honesty. I know that being alternate means you need to be versatile, which makes a lot of sense, but they need to know who is their weakest dancer either way. You don't want your "weakest" on stage especially if your most versatile dancer is the best dancer on the team (Eldon for example) you need your best foot forward. Alternate needs to be versatile but should not be one of your stronger dancers because then you cut the dancer who should be featured.
