disney is a legal nightmare, so sora being in smash was basically impossible so im so happy he got in. the perfect last fighter. thats also why theres no disney character or music in smash because disney are impossible to work with XD but we atleast got his mickey mouse keychain on Soras Kingdom Key.

@@BJGvideos Yup exactly. Not really an "issue" too, it was Nomura wanting to make sure that if it happens, its somehow part of the Kingdom Hearts lore hahaha. Disney signed off on it long ago.

It actually wasn’t Disney that was the issue, they said they wanted Sora in for a while. Nomura confirmed that he was the one who questioned his inclusion & held it off so long. He’s the creator of Kingdom Hearts, and he’s a very weird person. He thinks anything that Sora is in MUST ALWAYS be canon to Kingdom Hearts lore, so he gave Nintendo hell for this inclusion.

Actualy according to the behind the scenes to what I heard about the deal for sora, it sounded like Disney had no problem with nintendo making a deal, it was really up to square, it was mainly up to the kingdom hearts creator to really approve of it. Honestly I don't think he even wanted to say no, Its probably a big honor to have your character in a big crossover game like smash

i wanna add on that some of the trailer come out of nowhere : per example the first one was during a splatoon direc when they were anouncing things about the new game so when started it look jusy like a splatoon anouncement. the isabelle one was when everyone was waiting a new animal crossing game (the new animal crossing game was anounced just after isabelle reveal with other character owatching the reveal trailer in is tv )

You may want to watch RabbidLuigi's analysis of the Everyone Is Here trailer, because it gets into what makes it such a great video and why there'll never really be anything quite like it again. Also I feel like you should have watched the World of Light trailer. It's the story mode for Smash Ultimate and while the mode kind of has not much story, the intro sets up what everyone is fighting against. It shows why Sephiroth one-shotting that winged orb was such a big deal, for one.
