Kevon Looney, undoubtedly saved the season for the Warriors, the offensive rebounds that allowed them to get multiple shots. Scary that the Warriors are still not fully playing up to their potential yet with Poole and Klay missing everything. @@DanielTorres-pw8il Poole has been a serious disappointment. Perhaps it's the big contract. Perhaps it's the thing with Draymond. @@jeffvanderwerf3391 He still has a lot of room to grow. Give him time. He's really young still and a lot of his issues can be improved. Curry and Thompson used to be annoying af to watch back then cause they were TO prone. Swear Curry had 5+ TOs a game and Thompson couldn't dribble to save his life. Curry also couldn't play defense but last couple years he's been pretty great. But most of all, Poole needs to be humbled cause he's been spoon fed since being drafted tbh.

@@imadubsfan1 Your last sentence is right on point. He has had the advantage of being part of the one of the best organizations in professional sports, as well as a back up one of the best role models in sports, has already won a championship, and has a handsome $125M+ contract. Not that he hasn't worked hard to get where he is, but he really got fortunate in a lot of ways. His potential is Curry-esque, but I think that things have come much easier to him than they had for Steph, so the motivation may not be as pressing.

People forget that it requires so much more skill to play the game at that level being Steph’s size. He doesn’t have the size to go through anyone like Lebron does or the height to rise up and shoot over people people like KD, or even Kobe. It takes a lot more skill and craftiness to score like that consistently. And what he’s doing now is even more impressive than when he first got his mvp’s because every single teams entire defensive plan is centered around him now.

You could see for the whole of the 4th, the Kings just looked gassed. If you play a whole quarter with 3 defensive possessions for each offensive one, it's going to take a toll, especially against a team that moves as much as the Warriors. Just wondering why you would take Magic, someone who could not stretch the floor over the greatest offensive weapon the league has ever seen?
@JesisG23Nepal
@JesisG23Nepal Жыл бұрын
@@ggonzales4287 I appreciate Steph’s unique ability to space the floor and score from anywhere, his leadership and everything else. But I personally would rather take Magic’s GOAT playmaking, his size, ability to play any position, rebound etc. I think Magic is also just as good a leader

@jesisghimire7216 I respect your opinion, but if we are playing in the modern era, the easy answer is Steph. I would take floor spacing and the defense always having to attack the 3 point shot with Steph over Magic, who would be given the Ben Simmons, Draymond treatment on defense with his 3 point shooting

Curry deserves all his flowers for this performance but JJ you literaly make a reaction video to every series except the lakers. You are one of the best basketball analysts that exist and i love your podcast, but for the love of god can we not have videos only about the warriors every week? Not all of us are warriors fans like you JJ !!

Was hoping that JJ would catch what every other commentator has missed: that while Steph was putting up 50, he was absolutely dynamic on the defensive end in the second half also. He was all over ballhandlers, and playing great team defense in passing lanes, too. He led the pressure the Warriors D put on.

It was so demoralizing to watch Steph do anything he wanted. One of the greatest individual efforts I've ever seen in sports. Combined with Kevon's offensive rebounds it was absolutely back breaking. The Kings had such a special season and the fans were so optimistic after game 2 but game 7 was a nightmare wake up call to just how far they have to go to be anywhere close to contending for a title.

Steph isn’t a point guard in the way magic Johnson was, but he’s never been a pass first point guard. Steph Curry controls the pace of the game with his off-ball movement and has underrated handles.

One of the main reasons why Warriors didn't have a lot of turnovers was because Steph decided he was gonna isolate more. Not a lot of passes to be stolen and misreads on cuts - just Steph handling the ball and getting screens.
