I can see myself doing that since there's a lovely cherry tree in my garden however I'll prob need some help with someone holding the book for me because it's a bit tricky to climb it while holding anything. That aside I can't wait to try that this summer while my family absolutely yells at me for evolving to a monkey again lol

My go to reading position: On my side, pillows behind my back, under my head, propping up my tablet and between my knees, daughter breastfeeding and my arm under her head. I read only ebooks. The only time I get to read anymore is when she naps and I need to lay near her otherwise she wakes. She's a little clingy but I'm super happy about that.

9:45 my 10 yo niece crawled in my neck while reading. stayed there for a good 15min before I threw her of😂 she’s a gymnast and if I let her she woud’ve stayed there longer. She said she was quite comfortable. My neck wasn’t 😂

The best part about reading since I've been able to (I'm not joking I was at a 4th grade level by the end of kindergarten) is you learn to block out noise, and since I would read in the car at a very early age now I never get car sick, I've read an ENORMOUS amount of books. Probably even more that Jesse has on his bookshelves. I love that I'm a natural born reader. It comes with the benefit of better ELA skills, and a better vocabulary, and just being smarter in general. ALL THE MORE REASON TO READ KIDS! (The first day of kindergarten. What a nice day! Unless you were me apparently, cause according to my mom the very first thing I said when I came home was "I still don't know how to read!" While on the verge of tears... so...) I sometimes read in the car when I’m going to/coming home from holiday. But most of the the time I read snuggle sunder the covers in bed or I the summer in top of the covers. Point being I rated on my bed. Usually changing sides every so often so I don’t get uncomfortable or get a cramp.

if you like to read outside (i do) without the worry of bugs.. get a small tent or screen house and maybe a little air mattress to sit / lie on while reading.. as for the cars on the highway.. can't really help you there, i'm not that close to a highway.. pretend it's ocean waves? depending on how loud they are.

I'm totally a basic reading position. And 100% fidgety, trying to find the perfect position reader. I've got a big chair I can get my legs up in if I want, an ottoman for my feet if I want that instead. I'm also a prop the book on a pillow in my lap reader (I'm weak & my arms get tired + my eyes are real bad and getting the book closer to my face is way better) and a always have to be sitting in a chair/couch reader, (I can never get in a comfortable position in bed).

I change reading positions every time, so I don't have a stable position. But maybe what would be super comfortable would be a bed of plushies. A throne of plushies where you can curl up and read and sleep and talk to your animals while you read and pretend you have elaborate critical conversations with them... Plus, speaking of plushies, I found my big rabbit from when I was really little and I was soooooooooo happy. I really missed it and now I have it back!!!😂😄

My favorite place to read was on a bench swing. I used to swing while reading. Then a storm came and knock a tree down destroying the bench swing. Sadly, was never replaced.

I get headaches so easily if I don’t have the right lighting or I’m laying down and straining my eyes to read. So I’m either sitting in my chair at my desk or sitting on my couch. I gotta be sitting up straight. I’d say the only way I could read laying down is if I was in a dentist chair because it supports EVERYTHING. I never thought of putting a pillow under my arms though, that’s a good idea. This is also the reason why I can’t read mass market paperbacks. Me straining my eyeballs to read small print that’s really close together is a sure fire way to get me to stop reading.
