I fucking love Badflower! I can relate to this song so much. Thanks for the comment about not living for someone else. The stigma around mental health needs to end.

This is a great reaction. You talked about the aesthetics of this song, the singing, the raw emotion, having instruments perfectly convey the mood. But you also talked about the meaning of the lyrics and the expectations that people have and the real struggles people go through. This is such a surreal song. It should be in every rock music fans playlist. I love this reaction. Well done!

The metaphor of the song is amazing too. If you take it literally as a ghost singing it and reflecting on his past life its artistic lyricism is amazing. It can be a double meaning thing. But this is a guy who struggles with anxiety. Hes admitted that. The authentic courage of this song makes it so good.

It's a good thing that all of those rock singers are still alive in a parallel universe timeline somewhere.

I'm only staying alive for my family right now. I've seen my dad cry while bringing me to the hospital because I was bleeding to death from self-injury, and if I ever felt that level of guilt again I can promise you I will not be here anymore. And I've been put on suicide watch for merely mentioning not wanting to live, sent to the psych ward for weeks, stuffed into a hospital wing with others who were equally or even more messed up in the head as me, drugged to the point that I wet the bed because I was so out of it on whatever pills they forced me to take. I said I was ok just to escape that place. So, idk, I guess I'm just saying I'm living to not see my dad cry. I can't live for my own benefit, but at least I'm not making him cry for awhile. That's all I can muster right now, and it's barely enough to keep going. But it's there I guess.

I know how it feels to be where you are. Only I didn’t let people know what I was going through. It sucks. but you are important and loved. You are the only you this world will ever have and this world needs you more than you could ever know. Hang in there, and I promise that things will get better❤️

Listen, I know you have let your mind wonder into a place where life is to tough to go on. That’s just it, it’s your mind that has gone a little haywire! You Can control that and learn to retrain your mind for positivity! The mind is no different to training any other part of your body. Your mind controls all of your health, happiness, sadness, etc... I can personally tell you that my brother took his life 4 years ago! To this day that’s all I think about. He left two daughters and a son behind. Those kids didn’t deserve to go through his selfish plight! Suicide does one thing and one thing only! It destroys everything and everyone around you. Why do you think your parents are helping? They Love and Care for you! Are you that selfish that you cannot see that? How about your siblings, friends, etc...? Again, suicide IS NOT the answer! It never has been! EVERYONE on this planet is going through or has gone through fucked up shit! I don’t mean to harp on this but, you need to be honest with the people trying to help and you need to take control of your mind. It’s not an overnight fix! It takes time to retrain your mind from negative to positive! Don’t let world problems or others problems keep you from doing what you need to do. I sincerely hope that you see, hear and think about those who are trying to help. They may not know how to do it right but, at least they are trying! NOW, USE YOUR MIND to do great things for others in the same situation. From darkness comes light!

I'm thinking this Loudwire list is bad, but this song is important! It hits a little too close to home for me, but it's still fantastic expression.

Innit though?! EXPRESSION! That's the word I was looking for! *facepalm* You think the list is bad??? Which list should I do?

i honestly believe that everyone has their own personalized lists 4 a reason. we all feel and react/respond to songs as we r feeling at that moment. life changes and so do i. i can go to the same song 5 daze in a row and have 10 different feelings/emotions. that is the beauty of tunes. and if u have 2 ask what im talking about u shouldn't b reading, sorry no offense just real. let the melodies flow through u and let the mind take u 2 places u've never been. again sorry 4 saying we, i can only answer & speak 4 me. music is my heartbeat & the one thing keeping me above ground

Incredible song by one of the best new bands in years, this album is amazing and will save lives, saw them live last week and they killed it. I’m blown away by this guys and I never like new stuff. Your commentary is the worst though, it’s rude to add to your library, WTF are you talking about? Listen to happy manufactured horse shit if you can’t handle a real life song that has real emotions to it.
@williammcdonald31666 жыл бұрын
I hope you added it to your playlist, it is a really good song and to me this song is about regret and how suicide is not the answer because it doesn't end the pain it continues the pain for everyone else. And this is coming from someone who has thought about it several times and the song has helped me through it a lot to not do it

This showed up in my KZbin feed. Who are you? Your thoughts on this song hit spot on, and depending on what you meant with you Coheed comment like can't believe they were in the top 40 or that they put them that far back? Cuz if it's the latter we would be friends irl!

@rossmusic255 жыл бұрын
Metal Monkey Well I mean whenever a band puts out a new album they always go on tour for that album no matter who the band is. If you don’t like live shows don’t go to their concert, that simple.
