The Hanshin Tigers won the 2023 Japan Series! Saiki will be in a good mood all year! I love that the animation of their radio show included her yaeba teeth, and the video for "Unleash!!!!!"

At her young age Saiki's dentist decided to stack her teeth rather than remove a few. Yaeba (crooked teeth) are looked at in Japan as a beauty.

About Saiki's voice problems. She has talked about it in interviews. Her first realization something was off seems to have been the problem she had with phlegm building up in her throat when she sang, and getting rid of that. And so assuming this was something that happened to all singers she asked Kobato what she would do. And Kobato just went: "Whut?!"

You are correct. It is a play on band aid. The original band maid logo looked like a frilly band aid.

Also it included a registered trademark symbol as a joke (altho I'm guessing management also actually registered it at some point). Now that I think about it, both BAND-MAID and BAND-AID are still always officially stylized in all-caps.

Band Maid has nothing to do with Band Aids. It's Band-MAID. Maid costumes? Get it
