Despite now playing alliance, I played horde for the first 14 years I played WoW & no matter how many times I watch this cutscene, Sylvanas going banshee form & then screaming “For the horde!” still brings out such an emotion that it makes me tear up. Just like the Lordaeron throne room scene when she says “You’ve won…nothing!” Her banshee form is just top notch.

@@jadonharper1493 Pretty sure it's just banter, no hate. I've played both factions over the years and people who make it their whole life identity need serious help. That said, Anduin looks hella out of place there with his boyish demeanor. Totally green. The male equivalent of a Mary Sue, kind of. Blizzard's writing is weak in that way - they have a tendency to put too much emphasis on singular characters at the expense of everything else, including how believable those characters end up being (this applies to Sylvanas as well, in a different way).

His entire inner conflict as a character revolves around him reconciling doing what's necessary, vs doing what's right; his naïve and boyish nature always wanting to opt for the latter, even if it does more harm than good in the end. He's not a Mary Sue, this is very much intended to be a character flaw that he has progressively grown out of, over the years. Read the "Before the Storm" book that came out before BfA launched; it's a perfect example of his naivety and his overly trusting nature becoming a weakness for Sylvanas to exploit. It resulted in the deaths of innocent Forsaken civilians, murdered by Sylvanas for attempting to defect and rejoin their human families from before the Scourge came. I hate when people see a character with a heart of gold and just yell "Mary Sue" without any further examination. That very heart of gold has, several times now, led to dire consequences.

The only thing keeping the horde as alliance from war is a common threat, as well as the coolheadedness of the faction leaders. However, at this point, only Anduin really wants to avoid war, and he is not enough to stop this from happening. This was inevitable.

That was High Overlord Varok Saurfang "the Elder", the greatest Warrior in Azeroth. Go figure that he'd get dropped by ranged, just like the Orc Warrior in the BC cinematic did. At least he didn't die in a root like Garrosh did. #WarriorLife

I very much know him and respect him for being the most honourable orc ever. His fall was meant to give a chance to Sylvanas to shine otherwise when he bladstorms he takes chunks of hp off tanks and dps lol visit him on Aliance and you will know lol

OK. So I'm not up to date with what's happening. I'm only part way through legion and haven't taken much notice of that. What's with Sylvanas in this next expansion? Is it back in time when she was alive? Does something happen to her at the end of legion that I haven't got to, yet? Looks like they're bringing back the whole Horde vs Peasants aspect again. Sylvanas actually getting *really* into the thick of it was pretty bad-ass. However I was worried when the little boy started channeling, thinking to myself, "I freaking swear, if they kill off *another* Warchief..." But then he did his little heal thing and I was OK with it. Just means there's more of 'em to bash down again. For the Horde!

Go Sylvanas... That scream.... cold chills on my back.... The healing bubble you speak of reminds me of the Holy Nova spell Priest used to have.... Was an epic spell to boost friends with, killing mobs and healing friend at same time... I think they brought it back in the game, but not for all specs.... As for the no one says that haters.... I think she means the: "Stand as one" part...

xD I took that as more shock than fear. 1. Sylvanas has always shown only token support and appreciation for the Horde itself - usually focusing on herself and her own people. She may be the Warchief, but she rarely acts like one. 2. I don't think Saurfang has ever witnessed Sylvanas go full banshee, haha. It's rare to see her pull something like that.

I dont get it why Sylvanas is soooo important....she is nothing in power level in Warcraft lore....she got 1 shoted by Arthas before he became Lich King.....i guess only for marketing like Illidan in Legion he is "good guy" also killed by Arthas before Frozen Throne....both got slashed izy by Death Knight Arthas.....not Lich King 1.....
