Connie Talbot is a very talented, humble, and kind artist. Not only does she sings magnificently and plays instruments like the guitar and piano but writes and compose songs too.

Connie is definitely one of my favorite artists. Her voice is as pure in her pop format has any artist on the planet. Whenever she covers a song it's better than the original. One more thing, she has never had singing lessons, just a natural talent. Great girl!

When Connie was very young she always sang over the rainbow and a number of other songs with a heavy vibrato. She was not nervous. From her first album you can hear her sing over the rainbow ConnieTalbotVEVO Connie Talbot - Over The Rainbow (HQ) kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppaZfIl_prdki7c If you listen to her sing this cover on her site ConnieTalbotOfficial ZAYN - Dusk Till Dawn ft. Sia | Cover you can hear her now very controlled vibratto. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pXPaZomDo7qZiZo If you listen to this cover on her site that she just posted a few weeks ago you can hear some of her range Aretha Franklin, Queen Of Soul (I Say Little Prayer). kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y2TEi2iliputr7M This is a song she wrote at 15 1/2 Original Song - Invisible Tears - Connie Talbot it's kind of old school retro style kzbin.info/www/bejne/rKS1p62HfpKXj7M I think she is absolutely fantastic.

You should check out her other videos too. Shes got an incredibly strong voice. Her vibrato was a tad strong when she was little, but with lessons improved amazingly fast. Shes got a beautiful version of ‘i will always love you’ done at age 7. Not to mention her newest videos. Such a powerhouse.

Connie has become huge throughout the international scene, she has now over 1 and a half million subscribers and her videos have been views by a breathtaking one and a half billion ( yes billion) times. Not bad for kid from the black country. She is very prolific in songwriting. Still very down to earth and modest, clearly gets embarrassed when interviewed. Also still regards her Mum and Dad as her number ones. I am biased as I think she is unequalled in the singer/songwriter world except for Grace, but wouldn't want to decide between them.

I don't think that her vibrato was nerves. That was deliberate, if a bit overdone.

I didn't get the sense she was all that nervous; as Simon said, "pitch perfect". And her first albums were best sellers. Not just cuteness there.

Six years old is way to young for someone to be in these talent shows. It might be adorable but kids this young don't belong in these type of shows.

Brad K - Yet she ended as a runner-up aka second to Opera-singer Paul Potts! Then we have Angelina Jordan (same aged, when winning Norway's Got Talent) and Amira Willighagen winning Holland's Got Talent, then many others who have won these whole shows and many others gotten to be one of the finalists. We have most of them still doing their music currently and living their dream on ... always someone wants to stop good things in this world, but why? In your world, these child-prodigy's have no place then? I have a heart, soul and ears, Connie did so great in finals and in between with music on - this was sang a Capella in her audition as you may have noticed...? Also she was the one who pulled her mom to accept her 'trying to get through one audition' as mom Sharon told to press. She made 3 albums before she was 10 and mostly they sold real well - almost better in east (Korea to Japan -areas), than all UK together. She only lost a bit in the end votes to Paul in this S1 of UK's Got Talent here.

Parents forcing their child to join talent shows is certainly something that must be frowned upon. However, if the child is the one who wants to participate in talent shows, why deny him/her something that he/she wants to experience? And I think joining talent shows helps a child to develop her talent, gain self-confidence, and maturity.
@robingarvin-mack4 жыл бұрын
@@rainieresguerra7486 Absolutely agree with you. As I understand it, it was Connie who wanted to go on the show and pressed her mother to allow her so to do, so Sharon reluctantly made the call. And her father (sorry, I forget Dad's name) was more than a little anxious about her appearing in front of SiCo. And look how it turned out for her. Albums galore, including a couple that went Gold in the Far East). A Christmas Holiday Special on behalf of the US Marines charity, 'Toys For Tots'. Charity telethons and other charity events. Ambassador gor the African Children's Choir (ACC), and so much more. NONE of the good work she has done since 6/7yo would have happened without her going on BGT. 😉 *_R_*
