Turns out that when you’re playing a team as talented as Texas with 11 out of 22 starters out, things don’t go too well.

Turns out Napier has found a new excuse of why it’s okay to lose nearly 20 games. Let’s see what next weeks reason will be. I’m sure we will justify that loss too.

I don’t understand the outrage about where we are right now. You don’t have 7 coaches, not counting interims which puts the count into the double digits, over 21 years if everything is hunky dory. We are trending up and they already made the decision. Anything other than falling in line and supporting our guy is disloyal and hurts the program.

Not many excuses for the defense. I get the offense being bad without Lagway. Texas was also extremely vanilla on defense and didn’t really blitz and was perfectly ok with Florida running the ball in the 2nd half. Really like what Baugh did at RB. Really promising future.

It is very nice that TX felt sorry for us... their half time adjustments were to get their 2s and 3s some game time and OC was to take his foot off the gas. Lane wont do that... be prepared. Also. DJ os one person. With DJ the result would have been the same... only difference maybe TX kept the starters in halfway through the 3rd. And for the enablers of failure... the ots not billy it's injuries ... GT took oit miami minis 8 starters... we played our 1st game fresh at half speed

I disagree.... yes, we MAY have lost, but Warner couldn't hit the broadside of a barn with a rock... This dude has absolutely ZERO reason to be playing the Quarterback position at the FBS level. I get the nerves, but this was absolutely just embarrassing, Lagway would hit those throws which would change momentum and in College Football momentum means A LOT.... Not saying we would've won, but we would've had at least a chance to keep it close

"We’re moving down there and we have an opportunity to make it 14-3 and we miss a field goal. I think that affected the momentum a little bit, no question about it.” -UF Football Coach Billy Napier. So "missing a 3 point F.G." jammed up the once mighty Florida Gators' momentum. These players said before the Texas game, "We're playing for Coach Napier." There it is Florida fans. The '24 Gator players allowed UF to get "SPANKED" like very few Gator football teams have ever experienced. And all for "Billy Napier." From their lips to God's ears.

This is absolutely terrible! The only thing worse was learning that Napier isn’t being fired. Remember when we actually judge coaches on wins and losses instead of the players playing hard? I expect the players to play hard. I’m quite sure Nick Saban did as well. Same for Spurrier And urban Meyer and Bobby Bowden and freaking Ron Zook for that matter. All the fans that disagree are probably the same fans that defended Jim Mcelwain while he was humping sharks on boats. The only people that want Napier around coaching, our team are rival fans, and that group of special people who go out to the trophy store and buy their kid’s last place teams participation trophies. How is it that Dan Mullen gets fired and his fourth season with the 34 and 15 record because of recruiting issues and Billy Napier is somehow allowed the privilege of coaching our Florida gators in a four season with a record of 15-19? I’m blown away!!! Just look at this one paragraph on his Wikipedia… Napier's current record of 12-16 is the worst win percentage by a Florida coach during their tenure since Raymond Wolf, who coached from 1946-49. He also has more home losses (6) in his first 28 games overall than Urban Meyer had in 80 total games (5) and Steve Spurrier had in 150 overall games (5). [22]

Ok, I must say, Billy knew what he had in Warner before hand. Dike was open so much, if he could hit him, Dike would have had a 150 plus yd game. Even Mizell would have had at least that one long pass Warner missed. Warner missed alot of open WRs. But even with those completions, it would not had been enough. But if we scored on those. It would have been a better game.

For Gumbs to previously play TE he sure doesn’t have any hands to make catches, that’s probably why he didn’t last as a TE but that was probably the easiest INT he would of had in his career but instead he puts his hands up to swat it down instead of making the big time INT and give our offense some help! Gumbs should have easily picked that ball and possibly had a pick 6 for us. Gumbs is solid but he is not aggressive enough with going for turnovers!

Even if DJ would have risked his life to play in this game the outcome wouldn't have been much different....I will die on this statement BN is not a head coach for Florida even though the kids "play hard" for him he doesn't know how to replicate "being practice ready" to "being game ready", also if we have injuries which I know we have a lot of them unfortunately you have to be able to recruit to get the backup players to play and be ready for their time....next man up. We will not be anything like we were previously during our good years with BN as the HC. Also, Scott Stricklin has to GOOO!

This is what I hate about all the media. You all report that Strickland said Napier was to remain thru 2025 but that's not true. That's not what he said. He said remain coaching. He didn't give a time frame. All of you made an assumption and then reported it that way. Which now makes it harder for Strickland to fire Napier because you said something he didn't say. We should all be calling for Napier to be gone but the media has now gone with this narrative that he is here through 2025 because Strickland said so which is not true. Stop assuming.

We have a 2022 freshman all American at QB but for some reason Napier has him as the 4th string QB backing up a Yale walk on all because warners parents are gator alums! If we had any other coach with this QB situation I can bet you 99 out of a 100 coaches would start Millen over Warner, the only 1 out of the hundred that would start Warner is Napier and of course we’re stuck with him being our coach! Any casual fan can go watch highlights of both Millen and Warner and a casual fan can see that Millen is by far the better QB out of the 2 and he actually played a season of D1 football as a starter! Warner was a backup at Yale and couldn’t even start for Yale but somehow he comes to UF and “beats out an all American QB” according to Napier. He’s lying so bad right now that it’s obvious we can all tell he’s lying and just gonna die on the hill of doing everything his way instead of making slight changes

The defense fought hard the first 3-4 drives and kept Texas from scoring in the first 2 drives but I think they said screw it why should we give a 110% effort and risk injury when we know we don’t have a QB that can’t help them out at all! In the first half Warner threw the ball to Texas more than he did our WR and he has to fix his passing release cause there is no reason his passes should be getting tipped at the line of scrimmage like his passes were yesterday! Millen needs to be the backup to Lagway cause he can’t be any worse than what Warner showed us yesterday!

I was at the game. Texas could not stop the run game. It took the coaching staff 3 quarters to figure that out. The coach should have known we had to run the ball and pass as needed. He ran one screen pass and it worked. He never went back to it. The receivers ran patterns too close to one another. That’s what caused those interceptions.
