Yeah, but that's not what I'm referring to. He kept yelling at Kami thinking he's a dick without really listening as to why he doesn't wanna do it. He's scared. He's sad. Giving up your body and your freedom is a big thing. Whether it's to save the world or not. That's what I'm referring to. It's a small thing, but I always liked this moment. Some of my favorite moments in dbza are when they can sneak in some real moments poignancy into the show, much like this part. I think it was just a bummer for me when all he did was get mad as opposed to really taking in what was going on. Different folks take away different things I suppose :P lol

+Michael Covel That's actually what I like about watching all these different reaction videos to DBZ Abridged. Everybody reacts or gets taken aback to the most varied scenes. While somebody can see "I CAN SEE THE FYUTUUUURE!" & just chuckle at best, somebody like the Spaz Boys will fall over themselves laughing to the point where they have to stop the video. It's fascinating to me how different people have different takes to the on-screen action. I like the Spaz Boys reaction even more BECAUSE it's absolutely all new to them (well all new to Curtis anyway). When we watch it, we already know the backdrop of that scene so we take in the dramatic weight of the moment. Curtis & Spaz Kid see the desperation caused by that Android beatdown from Episodes 39 & 40 so they're angrier at Kami for refusing to...uh... fuse (unintentional pun there). Think of it like this: Starting from Episode 1 when they're getting introduced to all the characters they see the amazing feats of Goku & Piccolo (Yoshi) against Raditz. Two enemies have to team up to beat this bigger enemy Raditz. But then Raditz was nothing more than a miniboss & the REAL threat is Nappa & Vegeta. They go through all this training to face these two then they see Nappa wipe the FLOOR with all of them. Then Goku finally shows up & whips HIM! Amazing right? No. Vegeta kills off Nappa out of the blue showing who the REAL force behind the team is & faces Goku. Seems evenly matched for awhile until Vegeta goes Ape & paralyzes Goku. They see this intense desperate fight with Goku's friends & family against the mighty Vegeta that only gets won by dumb luck! THEN to save their fallen friends they go to Namek & find out that Vegeta is not the Ultimate but just ONE OF MANY in this Freeza guy's army. They see all the different soldiers & how Vegeta matches up against them for good & bad. They see Vegeta reluctantly ally with the ones he fought on Earth to beat these Elites called the Ginyu Force. Then Goku shows up & it's simultaneously a struggle & triumph in defeating them. But now they have to fight the REAL Ulimate Freeza so they reluctantly stay teamed up. And Freeza one by one dismantles each & every one of them EVEN Goku. UNTIL Goku goes Super Saiyan & eventually whips this Ultimate. All of that set the tone for Season 3. With Garlic Jr.'s Black Water Mist easily handled by Mr. Popo we see Mecha-Freeza & his father King Cold come to Earth for revenge! Remember how Freeza was built up for so long as The Ultimate. Not only did Freeza survive Goku & Namek's explosion but NOW he even has HIS DAD with him! And Goku's still lost in space so the gang has no defense! Then this Future Kid shows up out of nowhere & DOMINATES them! Made it look EASY!! And made SURE they were dead this time. Yet this powerful Future Kid is still scared of something called the Androids (Cyborgs). So the new Ultimate in Future Kid has EVEN BIGGER Ultimates to fight on his own! And Androids 19 & 20 were not those Ultimates. Androids 17 & 18 are. And the Spaz Boys saw how ULTIMATE they were in Episodes 38, 39, & 40. So knowing this, the Spaz Boys have no patience for Kami's dramatic moment. Their anger comes from fully getting into the narrative of this show. They FEEL the desperation with Yoshi lashing out & Super Saiyan Vegeta getting OWNED. Super Saiyan caused Freeza to have hallucinations of Goku's "Pizza!" but now it means absolutely NOTHING! And that's why I like their reaction to that scene. By the way I didn't break up this paragraph because when I do it never shows in the comments.

It's perfectly understandable that he would get frustrated with Kami. MY frustration, however, came from the fact that his frustration so easily distracted him what was really going on and kept him from understanding the gravity of the situation for Kami.

Spaz Boys in addition to that important Special that you *MUST WATCH BEFORE Episode 45*, there are a couple of things you should watch *AFTER you watch Episode 44.* I say Episode 44 because there's something you have to see in that one to make the reaction even sweeter. So watch Episode 43 when you get back then watch Episode 44. After Episode 44 watch *History of Trunks* then *Cooler 2* then that important Special that I will name for you after you see Episode 43. After that THEN you should begin Episode 45. Best to get them out of the way at this juncture because the ride's about to go into top speed & you're not gonna want to get off.

Honestly not impressed with Black so far. As bad as GT was I did enjoy Baby, I also liked the concept, not the execution of the Shadow Dragons. I liked Beerus for the brief time he was considered a villain more than Black so far. Mainly because he did not give a shit, and goku actually lost. My order would probably go Cell>Frieza>Beerus>Baby>Black/Zamasu>Omega>Buu>and then Super 17 If we include the universal tournament, I do like Hit quite a bit, although I don't consider him a villain, more a rival

Yeah, SpazDad, without spoiling it, the events of the past few episodes and those to come, are basically because when Akira Toriyama was originally writing the series, his editor kept telling him he didn't like his plot ideas, so Akira had to keep reworking the plot. Hence the weird 'villain jumping' that's happened (Androids 19 and 20, then 17 and 18, now this guy).

+Ash Bloodfire It's amazing how Akira Toriyama was able to make such a fascinating story throughout all of this executive meddling. It could have easily gone all wrong but he made each of those characters fit in & work in the story. That's probably why so many people love this Androids Saga. So many twists that Toriyama made them feel organic. He made the complexity work.
