Great song and reaction. Love me some ABBA. Did you know Frida, the red headed singer, absolutely loves clothes and went to design school to become a trained seamstress as a backup career? She was raised by her grandmother also a seamstress and as a child would help her grandmother by sewing too so they could make more money. She is a master knitter too. She made and designed many of their costumes. She made this snakeskin suit she is wearing here. Later Owe Sandstrom came to help but Frida was always involved with.the costumes. She even made Agnetha a bunch of maternity clothes because she hated the ugly ones for sale. Frida made her own clothes all the time. To see a real sultry video, please watch the video to the song "so long" make sure you do the one from either the live tv special "imported from sweden" or the live tv soecial disco show from Germany. Frida goes crazy in both lol

best regards from Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷 South America "Honey honey" (1974) very good and catchy song It is from the post "Waterloo" era of 1974, when ABBA was looking for its second success, and the revival of "Ring ring", plus the singles "Honey honey" and "So long" did not achieve great impact and they had to wait for 1975 with the approach of "I do I do I do I do I do" and the definitive impact of "S.O.S." that will start your unbroken chain of successes "Honey honey" is from the group in which The boys on the one hand and The girls on the other sing verses in solo responding, as in the debut: "People need love" and the following: "He is your brother" and: "Love isn't easy" "Honey honey" also is the last song recorded by ABBA in swedish too These is a TV perfomance in Germany 1974, with the smash hit "Waterloo" in first time The costumes they use are Superheroes with superpowers, they did it in 1974 from the promotional video for "Ring ring" Note: the TV host introduces the girls as 'Anna Frida' and 'Anna' ABBA had just won Eurovision but weren't massively famous and since Agnetha was difficult to pronounce she uses 'Anna' (just like in Eurovision) to facilitate ABBA's popular and commercial insertion. in fact, in 1975 ABBA was not yet massive and you can see Agnetha and Frida wearing their names on the back of their iconic cat dresses . PS: next reaction could be "Waterloo" (1974) ? the live perfomance at Eurovisión in Brighton UK lo

I don't care if she's like 70 yrs or more I still remember her like this. God I'm so starved of gals like this ,where are they now ? Sorry about that I'm not simping just wondering where are girls like this around today. Fantastic outfits they don't make them like that anymore. Fun song. Probably one of my favorites from ABBA would be their first well known song - they won the Eurovision song-quest with it called "Waterloo". Another good one where Bjorn does lead vocals and the girls backup would be "Does your mother know". They have loads of great hits though including: Ring Ring, Mama Mia, Gimme Gimme Gimme (which I think you've done already) ditto for The Winner Takes it all - Knowing me-Knowing you, Money, Money, Money, Take a chance on me, Super Trouper......

That puppet in the background is actually a man in a Womble costume 😮🤔 The Wombles were a children's TV programme in the 1970's and they were the biggest selling recoding act of that year as they released quite a few records that were big with youngsters, so they would pester their parents into buying the latest single. 🇬🇧🤣
@stevored19896 ай бұрын
Yes, and the man in that Womble costume, if I am correct that it is Orinoco, is Mike Batt who composed all the Wombles songs but is best know for Art Garfunkel's Brighteyes and David Essex's Winter's Tale.

TV Programme was called 'Starparade" from West Germany fronted by famous German artist/composer/intrumentalist James Last and his orchestra..Very popular.That was 16th May 1974 where they did 'both 'Waterloo" (no1 hit) and 'Honey Honey" which was also a huge hit there(peaked at no2 and remained in the top 5 for 4 whole months). Agnetha was difficult to pronounce so it was suggested to be called 'Anna" for a start and that was to her awareness.The presenter mistakenly pronounced 'Anna-Frida") instead of 'Anni-Frid" for Frida.Twas just their international beginnings,that's all.
