После исполнения этой песни, Димаш проснулся знаменитым в Китае. 600 000 000 просмотров, если я правильно понял, на Weibo. Как я понял это китайский youtube или instagram не знаю. Ему тут же предоставили охрану. Он занял 2-место на этом конкурсе. Китайцы по достойнству оценили талант Димаша. А остальной "избалованный" мир не может этого сделать до сих пор. Если собрать все видеопросмотры на youtube, 600 000 000 не наберется наверное. Интересно почему так?

I don't start to question myself listening to Dimash. Instead I get peace and feel so grateful there is such a great singer and a beautiful human being in the world. 💕🇫🇮 PS. Actually, he didn't win the Singer 2017. He was the runner-up which in fact was a win for him, being an outsider and the youngest competitor ever.

I wouldn't say he always goes from low to high. Not all his songs have a wide range. He sings in a way appropriate to the meaning of each and every song. Of course, in a contest against great professional singers he showcases his range more than usual. But except for his technical perfection, no matter in which range and style he sings, his main thing is that he truly lives through each song and delivers it with such emotion that he touches the hearts of millions. We love him as an artist and as a person as well. He is the best vocalist in the world and a wonderful, humble, charitable kind and sweet person.

I’m most grateful for that.” The show was a contest for established singers. This is a contest of professionals and established singers of China and other nearby countries, not like any talent hunting show. All the contestants are famous well-known performers and Dimash was invited as wildcard and was the youngest(21/22 years old) and unknown in China, so they are at awe but they all became friends gradually and helped him to make his stay in China comfortable. As it is a 14 episodes show took 4 months and Dimash couldn't speak Chinese (Mandarin), the Chinese audience adore Dimash and call him "Imported little brother" and are the biggest fan base of Dimash till date even when they can't access KZbin or Instagram, they have their own Weibo and other similar apps. Dimash gained millions of fans after this first episode and more than600M views after first telecast😊.

Not only China and Taiwan...there's also Chinese singers from Malaysia, Canada, Hong Kong.....Sandy Lam (winner of Singer 2017 is from Hong Kong)...the man who's face showed disbelieve, Michael Wong...who's wearing a suit with black turtleneck and wore glasses....he's from Malaysia...the oldest contestant in Singer 2017, Teresa Carpio is a Filipino Hong Kee (from Hong Kong) who has migrated to Canada.

This show was made as a sort of singing competition for well-known Chinese artist and usually as a "warmup" they invite unknown foreign talent to go on as the first act to get the audience hyped and ready for the upcoming Chinese singers to come on later.... What they didn't count on, in this case, was that Dimash is, well... Dimash, and completely blew everyone away... Almost all the reactions they show are from the other "known" Chinese contestants and it's priceless watching their reactions to Dimash setting the bar higher than any of them would be able to reach... Even with him singing in French, and doubtful that anyone understood what he was singing, they still all knew that what they heard was true perfection.

I will not get tired of hearing this young man with that wonderful gift, I cannot believe that a single human being has so much in himself, passion, emotion, beautiful personality, a great heart, and a pure and unique technique. Love it! Also, a great coincidence and pleasant surprise happened to me Dec 9, in New York, day before the concert. When I was about to enter the NY library I saw Dimash's parents who were also entering, Dimash's younger brother was our translator ... that was a nice meeting..I had some photos with them ....❤❤❤❤

Sadly and due to politics he came in second. A foreigner had never won this show before, let alone the youngest contestant they had ever had. There was blow back and the following year Jessie J did win. However, Dimash came in second and it launched him world wide so all turned out very well for him.

That's not true. Dimash didn't win not because of the politics.. Coco Lee (American) won the singer before Dimash and Jessie J won the singer after Dimash. Dimash lost because he didn't get the highest score... His MJ tribute performance on the semi final was not as strong as his other songs

She was incredible and the finals was not the best Performance by Dimash, even though it was better than nearly anyone else could do.

Opera 2 is a stunt -- this one, and Sinful Passion, are both fabulous as musical performances AND as unmatched virtuosity. One of my favorite Dimash moments is in SOS when, having established the "plus beau vu d'en haut" line as light falsetto colortura throughout, he comes back and blows it away in full rocker belt, on those same crazy high pitches...

So another great one is Sinful Passion. You can also see his performance of S.O.S at the Slavic Bazaar in 2018 which is his best performance of the song yet, even better than this one. Other great ones are Adagio for the Singer Competition, Show Must Go On for the Singer Competition, and he also had a few music videos I would check out Across Endless Dimensions first.

And unfortunately, he did not win the show, we suspect because a Chinese person had to win. This is the first time the audience and the other competitors have ever heard Dimash sing. It is a competition for famous Chinese professional singers and Dimash a foreigner was invited to take part in the 14 week show as a wildcard.

This was the "I am a Singer" a Hunan TV realty show of 2017, when Dimash was only 22. The guys and ladies in the waiting room were all fellow contestants, Chinese or at least spoke a Chinese language and professionals, whereas Dimash was (still is) a Kazakh and not a pro, at that time. Dimash was the first singer for the show and from their reactions they must have received a culture jolt. When the winner of this show, Sandy Lam released her first CD, Dimash was not born yet; the long haired dudes were members of a Taiwan rock Lion, which came in third. Dimash did win in this episode and in the second episode too, singing Opera#2 in Russian. Though Dimash's French left much to be desired, after SOS, Dimash's name became prominent in social media and his success made headlines in China, Kazakhstan as well as French media and TV programs. Mais, monsieur, later versions of SOS are much better eg SOS at Slavic Bazaar. I suggest you do Sinful Passion next.

He is a human being with a natural gift, who has studied (piano and singing) since he was 5 years old to develop it and who works every day on him ... to make his dream come true as he has expressed. He is singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist (piano, drums, dombra, xylophone, guitar). Both parents (Kanat and Svetlana) are renowned musicians in their country with a broad musical career, which they have put aside to support their son. Dimahs a younger sister and brother (Raushan and Abilmansur). EDUCATION: Kudaibergen completed a Broadway Musical master class in 2009. In 2014 he graduated in Classical Music with Major in Vocal (Bel Canto) from the music institute of K. Zhubanov University in Aktobe. He began his studies in Contemporary Music (Jazz, Pop) at Kazakh National University of Arts in Astana, where he graduated with Major in Vocal on 27 June 2018. @@aromedia i think there is some confusion. Slang for French Canadian is "Canuck" but many consider it a slur. Dimash is from Kazakhstan, a Kazak, in central Asia. It is the largest land-locked country in the world. (it is also one of the most corrupt countries in the world. The country was raped and pillaged and colonized by Russia/Stalin. That horror of a time plays into Kazak music and history and soul. Dimash has done one song about that period, but i cant remember the title.
