Austin even sang in the same key, as Patsy. A hard thing to do, for most guys, but he nailed it :)

Such a beautiful cover of this classic song. I listened to Patsy Cline growing up. Loved her voice & the emotion she conveyed in her songs. I think Home Free nailed it & did a beautiful tribute to her. And loved that they filmed it in black & white to keep the nostalgic feel.

Home Free generally has a sense of which songs they can play around with and which ones to just put a new coat of paint on them. When they did Ring of Fire on the Sing Off, I really cringed because they changed such a classic song so drastically. But, I learned to give their versions of any song a chance. Now I no longer wonder IF it's going to be good. I wonder just HOW GOOD WILL IT BE! Great reaction and thank you! ❤

Their harmony style is right on for the period. They sound like the Modernaires; a male group popular at the time.

Now you know why we follow Austin on his channel as well. Love this cover by HF. One of my favourite songs and now I have two beautiful versions to listen to. Hats off to Austin for a perfect lead, the guys for amazing harmonies and Adam for beautiful percussion. Glad you enjoyed this.

It's just soooo good. That retro feel back to 1962 is very strong. Excellent tribute to Miss Patsy Cline, she was smiling down on them.

What a great reaction to yet another terrific Home Free cover. I also love all the little details they added video wise. The sock hop reference, the black and white film-strip chattering at the beginning etc. Wish I could subscribe each time while you are reacting so wonderfully to Home Free. Stay well.

What I love in this (other than everything) is listening to Adam's percussion. You swear you can hear the brushes striking and sliding. It's another one where you don't notice it but when you do and think about what Adam must be doing...it blows your mind!!!

I agree...Austin is killing it...great choice for the lead....and the harmonies just step it up for a couple of notches. I finally got to see them live, last Saturday, and OMG...They are so good. It was fun....I have a 5.1 speaker set on my computer, so they sound awesome...but live, you don't just hear them...you feel them. If you haven't seen them live...you need to.

This song was written by Willie Nelson, who sadly died just this month (Sept. 2022). It was originally called "stupid", but then they realised that such a titled and subsequent lines would severely limit radio play and sales in general. RIP Willie! 😢

Wonder if you caught a couple of things here? I'm told that they sang this in the original key. Also, the main dancing couple is in socks (a throw-back to the sock hop school dances of old) and everyone else is in shoes. I agree that they did a great job in covering a classic without straying too far from Patsy.

Home Free definitely did this one the justice it deserves! Austin’s voice is the perfect choice for this song! Those mesmerizing harmonies draw you in more. Then the bass and light percussion added the extra wow factor! All wrapped up in a soft warm blanket of perfection! Loved your take and reaction! They know how to get us in the feels, right?! There are so many more great covers, but they also have original music. I would love to see you react to one of those from their previous album “Dive Bar Saints” and maybe start with the title track! It has a really cool and laid back vibe that I think you’ll like. I really enjoyed your reaction!

I too was hoping this was the Seal song cover but was far from upset that it was the Patsy Cline cover. Other Home free suggestions: "Seven Bridges Road", "women, amen / female" (great beat boxing), and a throw back to one of their firsts but "Colder Weather". All GREAT! One other non Home Free suggestion: Canadian Tenors version of hallelujah (Just beautiful) and Parting Glass (kzbin.info/www/bejne/aITUnWyOaa1jjLs).

Thank you for making such a happy time. I am amazed at the excellence of your skills and thank you for taking the time to melt my heart warmly because of your sincerity and hard work in watching the video. I looked up and it was your video. In the dawn sky, the star you see from under the sky is so beautiful and I am so thankful that it adds to the enchantment. I can feel how much time and effort you put in. I would like to give you my heartfelt praise and support for your channel to gradually develop into a very large channel. I'm trying to play. I want to play guitar while listening to the sounds of birds touching my heart while flying in the autumn sky. It feels like you put a lot of effort into making a better video. Even in the world, there are many things that can be comforted even in the hardships. A blue landscape is seen by the window today, which gives us a lot of excitement. While holding a guitar in my arms and drinking a hot Americano, I looked out the window and comfortably watched your videos on my small phone. I think I was bewitched by the algorithm. The quality is good and the best. How did your channel have such a wonderful talent that is full of strange charms unique to your videos? You have the ability to make the moment wonderful and attractive. Your video is a good video and I think you are a talented person. I have no doubts that you will do well. I've been so complicated and tired, but thank you for comforting me. I would like to say that your video is of a very strange and attractive quality where you can clearly feel the colors.

I've been loving your reactions to PTX so i have a request that I'm praying you react to. It's for non other then PTX's amazing beatboxer Kevin "KO" Olusola. Its just him, in his home studio, making music with his looper and this Man is a Beast. In my view he is the most talented member of the group. I'm not taking away anything from Scott, Mitch, Kirsty, or Matt and Avi, but here's the low down on Kev. At age 5 he started to play a songs from the radio on a toy keyboard his dad bought for him on X-Mass, 3 days after he opened it ...by ear alone. His dad saw his gift and automatically put him in professional lessons for Piano but Kev also wanted more pro lessons as the years went on, and by the age of 10 he was being taught professionally on the Piano, Saxophone and Cello. The Cello was his main instrument but he is classically taught on all 3 instruments and has preformed in Carnegie Hall twice as a soloist, once for Sax and the other Cello and that's before he was 17. He is the first person to invent and master Cello boxing, mixing classical Cello and urban hip hop beatboxing together. He's also a writer and brilliant music producer. He has also gotten his degree in Pre-Med and Asian Studies from Princeton and speaks perfect Mandarin Chinese, all this before the age of 21. When he finally met Scott and the other members of PTX to audition for The Sing Off on NBC they had only been a group for one day. I suggest you react to Kevin's cover of "Down" by Marian Hill kzbin.info/www/bejne/f3jNmGRvaM1nhc0 and my other fav is Kevin's remake of "Sign of the Times" by Harry Styles kzbin.info/www/bejne/nnOpnZuCerpqq7c You will blow your mind watching these. trust me and enjoy. I know I'll enjoy seeing you react to them. Thank You & Peace.
