Carol Decker,s voice obvs was the winner here for me !! T Pau,s biggest song was called (China in your Hand )It was number 1 for 5 weeks here in the UK in 1987 ! And It kept George Harrison,s Got my mind set on you off the no.1 spot. It was a HUGE tune guys !!! No 1 in 6 countries ! Huey Lewis most well known song here was The Power of Love which was a big hit here in the U.K too ! Hugely helped by the fact that it featured in the Back to the Future Film which was a big success here too. We all had Micheal J Fox posters on our wall as teens( so cute )But yeah T Pau won this one !!😊👌💯

It's interesting how T'pau just stopped making hits. They had those two megahits playing on the radios all over Europe so that people maybe got bored. I don't know, but in my opinion if they just had put more material out and fresh records, they would have been huge. Also I think that the band was not at Carol Deckers level. My favorite was and still is, Valentine.

OK first off, I just have to know: what did poor Huey do to Trey? Need deets! ;) Seriously, tho. I ♥ T'Pau's Heart & Soul too. One of my top fifty 80s songs. Love the dual vocals & how they blend. As for Huey's Heart & Soul, it's actually my fave Huey track. Not that I'm a huge fan, tho. Think this song was more about the sound. So gotta agree with Shawn on that one. T'pau definitely gets my vote too. Rather humorous battle. Thanks guys. :)

Loved T'pau and this is a excellent song. Seen them live a few times.They had a few hits in the UK. China in your Hand was the next single and was number one for 5 weeks.

This is a cool song battle of '80's songs. The first song is a catchy tune with good harmonies and a solid tempo rocking song with good production like you guys said. The second song I know from hearing it on the radio years ago. This was a very popular song when it came out. This song moves at a driving pace and has good melody and has that hit sound. Both songs have fade out endings. I really enjoyed Trey's comments and Shawn, you are more familiar with this song. This is a fun video.

Great idea for a dual song reaction. I grew up with these tunes, and really like them both. While T'Pau gets the nod for uniqueness and vocals, Huey and the boys brought the musicianship and full band experience so they get my vote.

Born 1984 as my username suggests, remember right back to being 2 years old, playing an Atari 1600 and still a gamer to this day. I have a 140+ IQ which might explain that lol. Our family listened to the new UK charts every Sunday so I heard this when it first arrived lol, I was 3 😅. That being said, always loved the T'Pau one better, you should also check out China In Your Hand, banger.

I will definitely go with Huey on this one. I love Huey Lewis and the News so much. Sports is one of the best albums ever, it’s the only album I own on all 3 formats: vinyl, cd, and cassette.

I was young in the 80's and a music snob for sure. I did not like this then and now when I enjoy many of the songs at which I turned my nose up, I still don't like it and god help me if I ever will. Maybe just still to much of a snob. 😊
