Hey Salvo! Those "squeaks" are her signature. She's basically allowing her voice to release into a *whistle tone* right on her passaggio. Traditionally, singers are taught to smooth out those breaks, but she often uses them as a style choice 😉. Sia often does the same type of voice break, but Morissette's is more of a *whistle tone* type of sound, which leads into the next point: Morissette has an insane range. If she can unleash a whistle tone any time she wants, then she has no problem with any type of release. That's how she is able to sing with such an airy tone here 2:01, then give you a visceral squeak here 4:30, then give you a growl onset here 8:10. She has no inhibitions whatsoever with any specific type of vocal cord closure.
