I am not sure if anyone has brought this to your attention so i will: Their albums are all story albums... What i mean is that all of the songs in the album continue a single story. In the album Apex, you first learn of the one they call the immortal in "Awakening". This introduces you to him, a little back story, and why he is here. The next song "Shadow guide" is about the guide that leads the immortal to the antagonist of the story. The guide is actually the shadow of a falcon, the one you see in this video, hench shadow guide. 3rd song is "The Matriarch" and you learn about the antagonist of the story from one of her subjects perspective. The 4th song, "Cleanse the Bloodlines" is where the Matriarch gives the immortal his task and tells him to go collect her 4 songs so she can sacrifice them so she can become immortal herself.... I will let you figure out the rest of the story in Apex if you are interested. Brittany actually has some really good youtube videos on the napalm youtube channel going over the Apex and Abyss albums. The next album, Abyss, is a continuation of the story of the Matriarch and the Immortal and just further tells the story of these two immensely powerful beings.

“They’re not just epic metal...” Correct!! They are FINAL BOSS METAL!!! 😎🤣 I temporarily go deaf after listening to this song on full blast everyday haha

This is one of my favorite songs. I really like the dichotomy of the aggressive, driving music and Brittney's vocals just floating over the top of it.

@@punkskaterpizza i used to request it a lot before, but the comment wasnt receiving much love, getting maybe 12 likes maximun compared to like...210 likes for "tonight we ride". But i don't know man...i don't think Tonight we ride is *that* good and there are plenty of songs that should be requested instead of that one. Apex, The Matriarch, Shadowguide, Test your metal... All great songs that are way better than Tonight we ride imo.

Unleash the Archers were Epic Metal defined, enjoyable review. Now lets rabbit trail. I want to see someone riding a goat into battle while dancing an Irish jig on its back DURING an OldSkuleNerd Livestream with buffering for dramatic tension. Maybe we can get Unleash the Archers to play the fanfare.

Great reaction and love your channle. Awakening was the first UTA song that I heard but Cleans the Bloodlines is the song that hooked me. UTA is in my top 3 favorite bands. I would reccomend doing either General of the Dark Army (official video) or Time Stands Still (live in Montreal) stay \m/

Becoming a huge fan of this band because of the reactions on youtube as well. I can not believe I have missed them here in Ottawa when they have been through. Wont miss em next time! They are the amazing Canadian PM band I have been longing for. Definitely the greatest I have heard in this vast country! BUT If you want to talk about PowerMetal GOATs, you need to dive into some Blind Guardian. It is pretty much impossible to recommend where to start with them as they have so many great songs and their music evolves with every album they release. But if you like EPIC, you might as well start with And Then There Was Silence. It is their Magnum Opus, long complex and out of this world imagery. You wont be able to hear it all in one listen. Hansi Kursch once said there is something close to 250 tracks mixed in there!! Its the story of the fall of TROY, but as a twist, it is told from Cassandra's POV. She was King Priam's clairvoyant Daughter... I hope I have piqued your interest...

Riding into battle on a donkey with Irish folk music playing in the background? I've done that. It was a county fair near Kildare, I was proper off my tits drunk, I was told my soon to be ex-girlfriend was entertaining another fella, and my neighbour's donkey was the only mode of transportation available. I mounted the donkey, ready to kick arse, and the band was playing _The Wind that Shakes the Barley._
