The John Farnham Band and backing singers were brilliant in the background. Jessica said in an interview that John himself asked her to sing You’re the Voice at this event. They both were amazing.

Would never have seen that clip if not for you guys. Thank You. The Logies are more like your Emmy Awards, but I doubt you would see the cream of US TV dancing and singing like crazy at the Emmy Awards. Shows all of our respect for John.

John really does do this best as much as I love Guy,no one can ever do better than John Farnham , there's something just so very special about John Farnham he's a rare human being as well. I always sing his praises and I'm waiting for his memoir to come to my door this week it's arriving it's in the post right now and I can't wait.

Hi. Great reaction. "John Farnham: Finding The Voice" did win the Logie for Best Documentary at the Australian Logie Awards. Yes those were John's sons the camera zoomed into and they were in the documentary. The documentary is the amazing story of John's struggle for 5 decades in the brutal music industry, being taken advantage of and treated badly. The USA music industry didn't want to give him a fair go despite his amazing talent and unique sound. His friend and manager believed in him and mortgaged his house to get his comeback album done "Whispering Jack" in 1986 which relaunched his career with "You're The Voice" and the rest is history. That album is still the biggest selling album in Australian history. The documentary might be on Amazon Prime.

Btw, the Logies are named for the Scottish inventor who demonstrated the world's 1st, live, working television system back in 1926 - John Logie Baird

Both of Farnsey's boys were in the audience on his behalf as the documentary was up for an award, and won I might add 😉 It was so special and moving. You can see how proud they are and then when the whole audience gets up on their feet for You're The Voice it is so beautiful 😍 The band backing Guy and Jessica are John's band who have been with him forever making it all the more special.
