Plot made Sasuke not copy 1000 jutsu like Kakashi it's because the uchihas put their personal feelings and dreams above everything else. Madara tried to destroy the village he created. obito killed off his clan for no apparent reason. they still had people who cared for them but they chose to walk away from that for an illusion. Madara talked about being unable to protect his brothers but when he finally became his clan's leader continued to fight.

God of shinobi Destroying the Hidden Leaf has never been a part of Madara's plan, it had no benefit whatsoever, it was somehing that Obito decided on his own. Obito could have just escaped with Kurama, but no, for some reason he decided to destroy the Leaf which resulted in him loosing Kurama, getting his ass kicked and the creation of the thing(Naruto) that would end up defeating him in the future. Madara never told him go attack the Leaf.

Notice that at the end of the battle madara didnt have his sharingan activated. Remember when madara said his eyes where the only ones that could see through hashirama's wood clones, the only reason he got caught off guard was cus hashirama had worn him down so much his sharingan deactivated. But he has a lot on his shoulders as a clanhead, has so much to consider. You can argue if his take on things is right or wrong. But he really does love his children. Madara let his hubris get to him, and in the end - like their first encounter - he didn't notice Hashirama standing behind him, the First killed his friend to protect his dream of a safe world, but he still honoured him, the statue of him and Madara at their battle site shows that. Sasuke didn't have to act smug about it to Hashirama though, the First knew first hand how good and kind the Uchiha could be, though it helps that Hashirama helped him to decide to stop Madara. But you can't forget Karin, can't go to battle without a healer, that'd be madness!

If Tobirama didn't kill Izuna then Izuna would have killed Tobirama. Tobirama was a rational leader. He wanted to make peace with the Uchiha but was sceptical of them because he knew their past. Tobirama never hates the Uchiha otherwise he would not have created the Police Force and would not have given the Uchiha to maintain it and he would not have Kagami as a student. The reality is that Uchiha clan has members that get emotional and they have short fuse. Madara, Obito and Sasuke all of them were like that.

If you think about it tobirama seemed to changed after meeting shisui's ancestor. Also if you look back on the three hokage and the last three excluding tsunade they are kinda related in a way. Hashirama is like minato, tobirama is like kakashi before he met naruto as tobirama was before he met hiruzen, and hiruzen is like naruto given how hiruzen treated danzo like how naruto treated sasuke.

However, the use of wording of him being a "spy" isn't entirely accurate either. If they had just kept that out then it would be fine, however, he was never shown to even be working as a spy in any way. Kabuto, was a spy and even shown to be working as such. Itachi, however, was not.
