Cette chanson est sensée faire référence à la relation amoureuse qu'elle a eu avec un musicien du groupe qui représentait l'Irlande lors du concours eurovision de la chanson 1988 auquel elle participait elle aussi. Lorsqu'elle dit " Sous ton ciel d'Irlande" est un indice assez explicite. La version Anglaise ne permet pas de faire ce parrallèle, bien qu'elle soit magnifique aussi.

The first one she wrote in 1993 (Si tu M'aimes), the one you reacted to, the version in English ( To Love Again) for her first album in English she wrote in 1999, and due to her success in Brazil she made a version of this song in Portuguese from Brazil with perfect Brazilian accent, in 2001, which made a huge success here in Brazil. You can find her singing all them on KZbin. The English version is also a gem, you'll be amazed with her vocals. ❤ PS: Lara singing live this song on her newest tour in 2024 is way much better than this version live you reacted to. Trust me. Such a great pop/rock song, one of her first hits I think The next one in the show was Tu Es Mon Autre, the song that was a duet with Maurane but in this case she did with her songwriter and producer Rick Allison, who also sings. It's a good version

To find out more about Lara You have to watch one of these concerts in its entirety, because the interaction between Lara's songs and her audience is almost as important as her songs themselves. It's hard to watch the whole thing as a reaction on KZbin unless you're going to split it up. But it can be done outside youtube.
