Great reaction. Who thinks of lyrics like this? Till, and Berthold Brecht (three penny opera. Moriat's Meckie Messer). Absolut genius to combine them together. 😊 The crowd surfing was invented to give Till a break from constant attention of the audience. Flake wrote in his book, that he fell out of the boat a few times and hurt himself. And one time (open air event) he ended up outside the venue and had trouble getting back in, because no-one recognized him. 😂 With love from Germany 😎 🤘🏻

Yes, I thought that was funny too. But he had once taken a taxi to the concert, it was in Berlin. He wanted to be driven to the stage entrance. The taxi driver said, out of the question. Today Rammstein is playing and if you were part of it, you wouldn't be here in the taxi😂🤣😂🚖

I've been to one of the concerts of this tour over here. And we actually sent Flake all around the beer stand in the middle of the field 😆And when he got back he had an inflatable shark with him. It was awesome.

Flake (pron: FLAW-Kawh) has been doing the boat gag since the late 90s... he's been dropped many times, and if you were holding your drink in the air, he would snatch and guzzle it! Rammstein still uses a version of this bit, in their current shows. Crowd loves it! I always take a Rammstein-virgin to shows bc I love watching them freak out over the various antics the band gets up to!

Loved your reaction! Roaming through the crowd in the boats now is a standard part of the show, and acutally the whole band (except Till) roams between the stages in the boats 😄 It is always kind of gamble, where to stay in the crowd in order to be passed by them. Few times someone joins the ride - I think recently someone's child jumped on the boat and joined Richard or Flake 😉 Hope you'll do the official video too, it is absolutely hilarious - especially for someone like you, who has seen most of Rammstein videos 😎 Enjoy - and have a fantastic day 😊

Auf der gerade zu Ende gegangenen Europa-Tour 2023 “fuhren“ alle Boot außer Till. Sie kommen von einer keinen Extrabühne, die weiter weg von der Hauptbühne im Stadion steht und auf der alle «Engel» singen; nur mit Klavierbegleitung. Till geht auf die große Bühne zurück und empfängt die “Flüchtlinge“, die es per Boot nach Deutschland geschafft haben. DAS ist, jedenfalls aktuell der Hintergrund dieser Szene. Die Zuschauer sind das Meer und sie sorgen dafür, dass keiner untergeht oder ein Boot kentert. Damals in den USA spielte das Thema noch keine Rolle. Man beachte in diesem Zusammenhang auch den Titel «Ausländer». Wer immer dieser Band eine rechte Gesinnung andichtet, ist dümmer als ein Rudel Gurken (Der letzte Satz bezieht sich nicht auf die Kommentare hier, sondern gilt ganz allgemein).
