I've never heard this but I actually like this song. This song has gritty lyrics and a driving rhythm that keeps moving. And I also enjoy the guitar solo which is played well. The commentary by you Shawn and Trey shows that you both understand the importance of the lyric and you delve deep into the meaning of it. I like the remark you made on the positive and negative. Yes, I would also say that if the two are not properly balanced it can bring a distorted view of life, if I understood the meaning correctly. You both gave this song a high 8.0 rating. I would agree, my rating being a 7.7 to an 8.0 Good job.

Top tier BR song. But needs a bit more Johnette. Otherwise the mix is great, every lyric is clear. The lead guitar is great. Tho I don't know which guitarist it is. They've had at least 3 but I think Greg Hetson was always there. Or something. And Hetson is also the Circle Jerks guitarist. I saw them last year and he sounded great and LOUD haha

Not yet Jimmy. We just don't feel qualified, I am taking a class on it though and then might dive in. Thanks!

A lot of BR fans aren't as into this song for sure. Of course it's totally cool to not be into the band, by all means, but I definitely suggest checking out a broader sample of their material before forming a general opinion, because this song is far from a representative sample! :)

Nothing wrong with subjectively not digging a band, so I don't mean to sound preachy, but I can't emphasize enough that this song is NOT a typical sound for them. Please don't take it as a representative sample. If you dig punk or rock at all I encourage checking out their other tunes. If they're not your bag, that's groovy man, but just don't let this song be your only taste since it's a much more unusual vibe from them! :)
