This relationship directly mirrors my toxic relationship I had at the age of 17. From the unwelcoming photographs and videos of me he would take, to him attempting to kill me. He'd show up at my job and it was always paralyzing to see him. I'd stand in shock and terror, not able to say anything from the sheer fear of not knowing if he would finally kill me. You think you're somehow better after these kind of relationships, and that you've fully healed but when someone who has broken you down completely, emotionally and physically, is standing in front of you again, it is truly paralyzing. Yet, you wouldn't have guessed he was ever that vile from the sweet, comforting tone of words he'd use when seeing you out in public again. Almost like a veil or disguise on an evil entity. A new persona, but one you know very well from the beginning of the relationship. It really leaves you wondering, "should I be scared?" all these years later.

I’m so sorry. I definitely had my fair share of people who fucked my life over mentally. Shit got so bad that I had to be sent to the mental hospital, and transferred out of that school because I would’ve killed myself. Luckily I am doing better than ever and am doing EMDR to “get better”

Had my first real relationship (physically intimate). He built me up until he tore away every person I had to support me. Then came the violence and the control. Ended up ending almost every friendship I had, and when I finally threw him away, he stalked me, joined my activities just to further control me and limit what little joy I had left. Even though it's been 6 years I still get anxiety thinking of him. Thinking of what would happen if I ever ran into him again. It's not my only reason bit maybe in some part me moving across the planet was to lower that risk to almost zero. This song just reminds me a lot of him.

Everybody relates this song with their boyfriend or girlfriend or Friends but I relate this with my teddy bear she always looked at me like she was about to kill me but I love to no matter what she gave me the angry and sad look whenever I was in my friend's house but now I moved into my kindergarten teachers house and now she always looks at me like this cute puppy face so yeah that's why I feel like my plushie expresses feelings you know it kinda doesn't do anything with the song but I do relate to it with my plushie❤
