The haunting yet visceral lyrics in Tag You're It honestly still breaks my heart. It continues the story of pity party, Crybaby has already been throuvh so much, yet still has a naivety to her, because she's still a little girl and she openly trusts the wolf, because she didn't see him as a pr*dator (a wolf in sheeps clothing) she didn't know she was being stalked, obviously the lyrics are a lot more violent than the music video "grab my hair and push me down, took the words right out my mouth" that paints quite a graphic mental image, like he's covering her mouth, or it could also imply forced oral (sorry, graphic, I know) chasing her through the parking lot (like she's trying to get away) he chased me and he wouldn't stop (realising that this isn't a game) "I can taste your skin in my teeth" I mean, again, so graphic "I love it when I hear you breathing, I hope to God you never leave me" the possessiveness and the obsession is so real there, "Can anybody hear me when I'm screaming underground" implying she's being held captive, like many missing children have been before, where it doesn't matter if they scream, they won't he heard... He wolf stole her innocence, obviously the biggest thing here is about r*pe, kidnapping and the loss of innocence, so sad. A fantastic song by Mel, still so moving. ❤

1. that actress really also played a character in K-12 (I don’t know if they are friends, but they seem to communicate) 2. "big bad wolf" touches crybaby's hair like her mother did in crybaby music video and crybaby's reaction is similar in both videos 3. The same poison (if we take into account the color of the liquid) poisoned "the principal" in K-12. 4. Again, this kitchen knife is back (and not for the last time)

“Tag You’re It” is my favorite song by Melanie, it brings me comfort and makes me feel like I’m not alone. (I’ve never been kidnapped but I had a close call) When I was younger my older sister and I (we were both pretty young) would bring our puppy out to go the bathroom, there would be a random white car that would slow down/park nearby. We brushed it off at first, but this continued on for weeks (or months I don’t really remember) before two men in a small white car drove up to our yard to ask us if we could help them find a “missing puppy”. My gut was telling me something was off so I was basically dragging my sister away when one of them said “You can trust us, we’re from the military.” It was freaky and the look in the men’s eyes still give me chills. We made it inside safe and nothing ever happened to us, but it’s definitely left a mark on me even now at sixteen. Anytime I see white small cars, my fight or flight kicks in and I feel myself go into a state of panic.

I think the point of 'tag your it' isn't to upset or creep anyone out, it's putting the message out there that almost every woman at some point in there life has or will experience some form of abuse at the hands of a man, whether it's verbal, physical, sexual etc....an important but sad truth that needs to be addressed and by using the lyrics 'tag your it' it's like saying 'your turn' 😢 This is just my Interpretation so I hope it doesn't offend and I want to make it clear that not every man is an abuser, there are some kind, gentle guys out there who wouldn't dream of doing any of those things, it's just that a lot of women during there life will meet at least 1 guy who is like that unfortunately 😢❤ XxXxX Sorry for the long comment lol 😂❤❤ XxXxX

I had forgotten to come here to talk about the songs, in pity party the main theme is the loneliness that consumes cry baby, her family is not with her and her friends are not really worthy of carrying that title, at the beginning of pity party we see how cry baby takes her birthday invitations to her so-called friends, including jhonny, who as I said in the soap and training wheels video, he decided to walk away from cry baby because he did not know how to take a relationship further, so that no one attends cry baby's party and she unleashes her great and immense anger at her party, destroying everything she ever built to celebrate her birthday Tag, You're It🐺🍦:this song talks about kidnapping.. and the innocence of children, in this case and history, Cry Baby is still a little girl, and the big bad wolf takes advantage of that, this song is easier to explain watching the video so I won't explain myself so much, the name of the song is about the childish game played by several children, Cry Baby didn't ask to play with the big bad wolf, but he takes advantage of any little thing to get his way, noticing that cry baby was Depressed by the end of her depressing party, she decides to throw everything away, and start to relax her mind while she continues with the song and obviously with the story, that wolf is really a psychopath.🍦This song reflects the meaning, the melody, and it is something that is very noticeable with that atmosphere of fear, worry and mystery, which makes it fit perfectly. Milk And Cookies🍪🥛: Continuing with the story, the big bad wolf took cry baby home?.. In this cry baby she decides to take revenge on that bad wolf, after noticing that the girl from the store gave her a rare substance, what could be lilith, she decides to use it to create her cookies and accompany it with milk, the girl from the store with black eyes, is something like an angel who protected cry baby from not ending with a sad and unfair ending, in this song she stops being so innocent and calm to enter a world in which she can be the villain of history. I really liked your reaction, very good as always, I will return again to end this great story, which little by little is unleashing the dark side of cry baby, but without leaving his big heart and obviously admitting that he did not have a good childhood💗☁ (extra): Honestly, these songs scared me a lot the first time I heard them, the dark environment made me feel strange, but it's still a good one and next is; Pacify Her, I'm excited💕💕

I think you should check out the band Daughter. Their music isn't super new but I feel not enough people talk about the meaning of the songs. I like their older songs like the ones from 2012. Especially her song 1944. 1944 is about her great-grandmother during the deportation of the Crimean Tatars in the 1940s, by the Soviet Union. She says that her song 1944 feels much more alive due to the war on Ukraine. She has immigrated to Turkey with her 2 kids, but she had to leave her husband on Ukraine. Love your reactions!
