Candles. People never notice that there are like six candles burning spread out over the area in different pools of wildfire. So there was no way for a single person to stop the fire from happening.

I always love that even this far into the series we were all still a little hopeful that Margery would somehow survive. I also like that we were able to see Margery with her mask off. We saw a glimpse of it when she interacted with Littlefinger but for the most part she played a part. But at the end her fierceness was apparent.

This was because they had made us love her, she was as conniving and manipulative as any game of thrones “player” and was exceptional at it, but unlike most other players, she wasn’t evil. In fact she was the epitome of being wickedly smart, dangerously fierce, stunningly beautiful and extremely kind all at once. Which meant we desperately wanted her to somehow win. I will gladly admit, her death was the only one that made me angry, because in my heart I had believed she deserved to succeed in the show. She was my favorite not of the north character.

The older I get the more horrified I get with Cersei. An absolute monster that the show/books repeatedly try to get us to sympathize with. At first it's like a knowing little nod, a bit "go off evil girlboss" but after years it becomes "Yeah I truly don't care, she should be locked away forever regardless of her trauma, children, whatever*. That being said, she and Lena Headey deserved better at the end

I'm sorry....but I absolutely LOVE her. There is nothing to fear there because she's an open book. There are no falseties to her character because she'll tell you to your face who she is. I fear the unknown. Fake people who put on an air of being one way when they're clearly someone else. Cersei is simple to understand. Don't fuck with her. Don't play in her face. I think everyone ignores the Tyrell's transgressions because their target was initially Joffrey. Look at this with an unbiased lens, Joffrey hadn't done a thing to any of them but this was about control and elevating themselves, no matter the cost. With Joffrey gone, Tommen was a better puppet. Cersei is a cold bitch but she peeped what they were doing. The last people who tried to elevate their status over House Lannister ended up dead, at Tywin's hand. The Rains Of Castamere isn't a catchy tune, it's a warning. Fuck with us if you want to. They CHOSE to get in bed with one of the most ruthless families ain Westeros to eventually supplant them. Therefore....I have no sympathy for them. They aren't the Stark's, these folks were just as power hungry as the Lannisters, you just liked them more.
