The Dinobots were mentioned in this episode. In the Prime Universe, Grimlock, Slag, Sludge, Snarl, and Swoop were originally a sub-faction of Autobots known as the Lightning Strike Coalition. Until they were abducted by Shockwave, who experimented on them and gave them their dinosaur beast modes. But unlike Shockwave's experiments on the Insecticons, what he did to Grimlock and his friends backfired.

Just to add on, Shockwave's cannon arm is a prosthetic of sorts since Grimlock tore off and ate his original arm is his escape attempt.

Soundwave's altmode is one of those unmanned Military drones that USA uses (MQ 9 Reaper), except in real life those things have propellers, not jets. That's why it looks like a missile.

Smokescreen's new paintjob is a reference to his alternators toy, where he transforms into a subaru rally car. Also Ultra Magnus wielding the Forge is inspire by Transformers Animated, in which he wielded a massive hammer.

Yeah Soundwave's alt mode resembles the MQ-9 Reaper UCAV (Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle) and I think it's very fitting since Soundwave does not talk and has no distinguishable facial features it's just blank He has no apathy and no emotion which is reflected in his alt mode an unmanned aerial vehicle Both are just pure machines

I find it funny how this is the first time we've ever seen Soundwave run. Every other time he just walks. Also, I'm surprised you never recognized his alt mode. While he hardly ever goes out on the field, he's transformed plenty of times. The recent one being the episode he dueled Wheeljack.

Predacons and Dinobots are kind of related because they have a common evolution origin and similar characteristics. They are also part of the Jurassic Era.

Yeah, this episode was pretty good. Set up yet another fetch quest item hunt like we had last season, but it was pretty good seeing the gang in action as usual it seems soundwave and shockwave are the most competent Decepticons yeah man to see how it’s all plays out because as was said, before the Predacons in this show are basically precursors to the Decepticons not their descendants also, the movie is called Transformers prime Predacons rising.

Season 3 was going to be so much different, involving the Star Seekers who were Cybertronians without a home who roamed the stars plundering worlds. But then the new head of Hasbro decided to completely scrap that and make it about the Predacons.

So if the Beast Hunters plot line feels like it came out of nowhere, that's because original season 3 was supposed to take place on Cybertron and focus on a 3rd faction of cybertronian pirates called the Star Seekers.

This episode was sick! Lots of callbacks and references. This season wasn't originally gonna have Predacons, but be focused on space adventures with concepts like the Star Seekers faction being sort of pirates, which would've been quite interesting. But things got cut short in terms of budget, etc. So that was scrapped. This season was also shorter as a result. A shame, this series deserved everything imo, but the Predacons and this season turned out sick regardless 🔥

The videos haven't really been doing too well lately, and I really am disappointed because, for me, it's the number 1 show that you're reacting to now, followed by dragons rising. I am very eager to see you watch more of beyblade, especially Metal Fusion, because believe when I tell you you've only seen about 20% of how epic and chaotic the show gets and I can't wait until you get further in.
