I sadly don’t have my journals from middle school anymore but I’m sure my entries would’ve been so similar. The unfiltered pettiness and drama in middle school versions of ourselves is real 😂

The story outline bonus content is just the best. The fact that the characters based on yourselves were going to do tricks to each other to get a boyfriend, the "geeky math teacher", the failed trick where the crush likes the "ruined" dress, "PROPOSING!" at a grad party during seven minutes in heaven... And I love how you read it all with dramatic expression 😆

That's so cute your family did favorite thing of the day at dinner 🥰 I think what got me started in journaling was reading Harriot the Spy books. I wasn't so much writing about my day as I was writing about the people I saw. I distinctly remember writing about this man who walked the track at a park near me. I'd see him there every single time I was there and wondered if he ever went home 😆 In 6th grade it was mandatory to journal first thing when class started for maybe 15 minutes. I'd sometimes prep my journal page (we used just loose leaf paper) by coloring it with crayons. I did pink, purple, and blue lines once and then realized writing over that in pencil (pens weren't allowed) impossible! Congrats on reaching your goal!
