The garbage that’s spread here has nothing to do with Islam, Shushtari and co. are as Muslim as Pharaoh and Abu Jahl were. In fact, the latter were better monotheists than he was. Fear Allah, learn your religion properly, and don’t rely on some kafir to strengthen your faith. If you don’t pray your obligatory prayers, do so, it will change your life.

is that to mean sufiism doesnt have a strong arab root? Would you say Pakistan is one of the most sufi countrys, at least in produce (not current culturual landscape)? As I understand it when Islam came to the indian subcontinent there was a lot syncretisim with local religions and traditions, leading to a unique form of Islam. Often why gulf arabs look down upon muslims from indian subcontinent and think they are not proper muslims. But it could be argued this sycnretisim is what led to such a strong sufi flame in that country, leading to amazing culturual aspects like qawalli. Sufism seems quite frowened upon and very small presence in gulf arab countrys.

I know this channel is focused on the different beliefs in the major religions but since you make videos on the different philosophies within the eastern "islamicate" world, I would love to see a video of "Political Philosophy". One lead for you could be "Nizam Ul Mulk" who was a Persian Political Philosopher from the 11th century. I had actually read Machiavelli's work on political philosophy which is generally considered to be evil as the sum of his entire philosophy is "the ends justify the means". So when I shifted to the works of a Muslim Political Philosopher, I realize there was a stark contrast between the moral/ethical valuues for rulers and kings. It just seemed like the Muslim ones have always held themselves strictly accountable for every's creature under their rulership even if it is a sheep or lamb. They constantly emphasize on this notion that one day they will have to answer to God for every innocent being that suffered. I would absolutely love to see a video on this subject from you. Thanks for the great content either way! 💯🙏🏻

These poems reminds me a lot of rengas or classical Japanese poem often written by those who practices Zen Buddhism. While Sufism often talks about the concept of "oneness" and how everything are connected, nothingness (Sunyata or Mu) is a prominent concept in Zen Buddhism. Emptiness allows everything to exist. To be nothing is to be everything. It's kinda amazing to think how both concepts are somewhat similar, yet so different, like two side of a same coin.

Never seen a word "Faqad" in Qul hu Allah hu Ahad. This is an invention I guess. Hu is self-explanatory in this verse. Hu is the absolute oneness,The unexplainable,The union, Timeless and spaceless, Beyond any attribute, explanation or imagination yet simple.
@Gabriel-ServantOfGod6 ай бұрын
Yeah it's clearly an addition of the poet. Totally agree, HuWa seems to refer to YHWH, and the idea of being. He is, or He is the one who is, or the likes. Actually, this is following surah ad duha verse 11, i narrate that, funny enough, i got the name HW in two incidents. It will sound as a joke but legit it isn't, i was eating some bread with peanut butter (or another similar thing) and it dropped, and when i substracted it, it left a mark, very similar to the H in the hebrew alphabet, i actually looked this up because it did resemble that. Later, i got a similar incident, this time i got the W or U in arabic... The first time i translated H and it said it meant or could mean God in hebrew, that was surprising. With the second incident, i had no clue, Hu? What does Hu mean at all... anyways. Later, i did realize HW, of course i forgot the U in arabic is also the W, actually is used in the Qur'an, to mean "He is" and as i quoted, HuWa Allahu ahad... Idk this for non believers will sound dumb or coincidental, but i think this was a tiny sign, like others i am glad i got. And i'm quite happy to narrate since i often don't do so since i don't think people will get this or may think i'm crazy. Alhamdulillah. But they are good reminders. Something to be grateful for. Peace brother.
