I grew up in Cincinnati, I asked my mom about Harambe and her response actually surprised me. She told me that everytime she took me to gorilla world (the Cincinnati zoos gorilla exhibit) she would always keep an extra close eye on me. Specifically because there was a gap in the concrete wall and the wire fence that she believed was an accident waiting to happen. When I told her about the incident with Harambe she wasn’t even surprised. She isn’t by ANY means an animal rights advocate, but even so she stated that it was the fault of the enclosure and the lack of adult supervision that caused the harm of an innocent child and the death of an innocent animal.

I think Amanda would love the smaller, wholesome communities. Humans genuinely trying to help each other out and support/big up each other.
