I hope Amanda realizes that when she messes up on screen, that elevates her status, not diminishes it. For me, I feel her confidence and charisma IN the moments she doesn't know who Harambe is, or laughs all the time in TNTL because her reactions are so genuine. It shows how she is completely comfortable in her own skin and doesn't let others' opinions get to her. She is my lifegoals. She is mother, she is queen.

SPOILERS FOR THE LEGO MOVIE . . . . . In some ways, the Lego Movie is similar. We're told for ages that Emmet is "the Special" only to reveal that the prophecy was made up. But Emmet's belief in himself and his ability to inspire others still did make him special. I guess the dragon scroll in Kung Fu Panda might also work the same way. Although it's a little confusing. The text of the scroll, the fact that it's a mirror, implies that anyone can unlock the power of the Dragon Warrior. Yet it only seems to actually apply to Po.

The bystander is so simple yet so effective. I rarely rewatch TNTL but I watched it twice and then just watched a compilation of just those scenes a fan made lol. It’s just soooo funny.

I know it wasn’t for TNTL and there maybe isn’t a whole lot that can be done with the character, but Shayne talking about how he’ll just bring certain characters back makes me wish Chanse would bring back Jerry Spruce from the Spud Hut

I love characters and I love character acting! I love Smosh because they have so many iconic and reoccurring characters and I honestly wish I could be a part of that. I'm not trained, but I do like going into characters with friends and I'm really good at being a "Yes and" kinda person. That's why I love Smosh so much and why I even came back to it

Because of The Chosen character, and their repeated appearance in Smosh, I started down a rabbit hole to find Chosens in pop-culture. And I wound up categorizing them as their 2.5 basic archetypes. The Revenant Chosens, and the 2 branching Saviour types of Chosens. Revenants are characters like The Crow, Blade, Batman, Sarah Connor (a revenant chosen who gave birth to s saviour chosen), and No Mercy Percey from Critical Role. They are total Process+Vengence=Justice/John Wick style characters on a mission. And they definitely don’t follow the “No Phap” rule. Then there are The Saviour archetype of the chosen, which branches off into 2 variants. The Monks, and The One who finds their One. The Spencer Agnew no Phap Chosens are the Monks. They embrace their mission and the craft of the blade so deeply that they become more elemental in their higher levels. The Ones who find their One however, are Saviour Chosens who do eventually find romance, but most often with their best friend or rivel. Like Neo & Trinity, both are Chosens, both find their ride or die in one another. Luke Skywalker & Mara Jade are also like this. Luke is that stereotype of small town boy, been on dates but never had a girlfriend, first kiss was a relative (most of the time its a cousin, but for him it was his long lost sister), than he meets a Sith girl who becomes his best friend, and than they become ride or die and get married. John Connor is this type of chosen too, because canonically he does marry & have children in both the timeline where the war happens, and where they stop the war (in the extended cut of T2).
