If it makes you feel better about wrapping presents... I also did not finish wrapping until Christmas Eve. Actually, I technically wrapped something Christmas morning, but it was for my newborn, which I feel like doesn't really count. I loved your description of the girl with humor like Larry! Ooh, Serendipity and Secrets series!!! I really enjoyed the whole series! Just as an FYI, Marcus's love interest (book 2) is very much into helping women of ill repute, shall we say. I don't remember there being anything too objectionable, but I thought I'd give you a little warning.

Love this reading vlog! I honestly had to double check on how Ch 6 ended in A Thieving Curse because it’s been a minute since I read it, lol. Haha, no hard feelings about the roast! I could tell you were being funny (sorta 😜) about your feelings-I’m just glad you liked it despite “the scene” which I also cried about and was in denial over until the end too. 😭😭😭 Now I just need to convince you to read book two… 😜 All hail Lindsey the book spine queen! 👑 (I honestly have started looking at spines differently because of you, lol 😂) The only character that dies in The Maiden Ship is the main character’s father but it’s not really sad as they weren’t close and no it’s not a spoiler because it happens in like the first couple of chapters or so. No promises on the other two books though! I haven’t read them yet. 🫣 Reese is like Larry from Veggie-Tales-this made me crack up. 😂 And Daisy is so cute opening her own presents! 😍 Girl, I think you’re overthinking the Goodreads color just a bit, lol! 😂 I’m so glad you’re liking Michaela’s books! She also has some Christian contemporary books as well as an ongoing Christian dystopian series under a pen name (Makenzie Gray) as well as her new non magical Christian fantasy retelling of The Nutcracker, A Dance of Rebels, if you want more recommendations. 😉 *whistles innocently as I walk away*
