Here is Katie single handedly reviving my love for twilight. Like I am one of those people who had a twilight phase, I loved it , I thought it was the best book ever and it was also the book that got me into reading. Now I know that it's not as good as I thought it was and I've not had a reread since years. Also your cats are so cute!! I love them!!!! 💚💚

I read twilight for the first time as a 16 year old and it was *exactly* what I needed at that hard time of my life. Ever since then, it's about nostalgia for me. I still read it. I detest Bella most of the time. 😅 what a great vlog! I am so happy I found your page!

If you plan to paint more book edges, invest in a clamp! You can just get a cheap one and a couple pieces of scrap wood to put the book between, and it will pretty much eliminate the paint seeping into the pages. The black edges look really cool, and I kind of want to do this to my Twilight books now 😆

I love your earrings in the beginning, the long ones with stars and I love the kitties. I also love Twilight and just finished the 4th one 2 days ago (should say the 5th, because I read Midnight Sun right after Twilight). Also yes, I think the 2nd book (New Moon) is the worst, at least because of the heartbreak. The 2nd half or so I liked. And I don't think only teenagers like or should like these books. I love them.

Lol I moved to Vancouver Island when those books were coming out and I was obsessed with them, thinking that “omg the rain is going to be so nice” and let me tell you, after ten years of rainy winters where you don’t see the sun for weeks on end…it gets REAL old. The Rain coast takes seasonal depression to a whole new level… I moved to Montreal in 2019 and will never go back. Long story short you’re really not missing out 🤣

I'm taking my time with this series because it's so good and I don't want the series to end. I love Twilight as well will be rereading this one as well. I love vampires. And at 31' I like your teasing with black and white, even further at 45'45" when he plays while you read (I'm wondering if you have three or four cats or if it's the same one you paint with the brush for a change, like you paint the spine of the Twilight books. 🤔 After reading Rroû de Genevoix, I will begin, among other things, that of Pains of the heart of an English cat (1841) which is part of Scenes from the private and public life of animals, by Balzac. (We don't read the same books but we share the taste for reading. 📚) Off topic: Hair done in a bun suits you very well Katie, I also like when you have the little pigtails.

i h a t e d king of battle and blood lolol. i thought the characters were so pick me and the lack of plot had me on that book for over a month 😭 even tho persphone annoyed me so badly, i prefer ATOD. also what trope were you talking about? i read it a few months ago and dont remember

I'm not a big fan of vampire stories because vampires seem like they have to outperform the normal bad guy to me since they are sooo dangerous because they drink human blood. When I read fantasy, it's usually dystopias, witch stories or cyberpunk. Otherwise I spend my reading time with detective stories, thrillers, novels and biographies.

Really enjoyed your reading blog. Even though I like the original book covers its cool what you have done with your books. Honestly Twilight is a vibe and it just sucks you in. So many books today try to engage you with plot twists and multiple characters but fail to be as immersive. The movies are wierd enough to be fun and have managed to capture the vibe. And the soundtrack is just too good! Though I appreciate you accepting your enjoyment of the series but I think you are being toooo apologetic about it. People like all sort of toxic stuff written in contemporary romances or romantasy and the whole supernatural genre is based on immortals falling in love with human and no one is apologetic about it. Boys like all sorts of media and call it fun times with "guns, cars, girls and booze" and no one bats an eye. But girls cant have fun escapism? Just don't read it for applying its "life lessons" to real life - its not meant for that. Context is everytjing and romance with a vampire will help you wxplore your desires in a rather safe way than with a human in similar setting. Stalker vampire who thirst for your blood makes much more sense to readers than a stalker random guy. Girls explore bully romance, enemies to lovers etc in reading coz it's literally a safe space for them as compared to actually being with someone in real life whose motivations would be ACTUALLY harmful. Twilight is literelly harmless compared to whats out there in our media and its only issue was becoming too popular among teenagers who are always extra about their obsessions lol. And I dont get what is the problem Stephanie?If someone makes a mistake does that make them toxic? Were her intentions harmful in some way? Is she suddenly some evil person who is harming people? Why cant we point out an issue or a mistake without demonizing or cancelling a person? I think you are letting the public opinion affect you too much. Why not give it a higher rating if it's a five star book to you and you cherish your experience? Reading should make us more understanding & compassionate towards people & circumstances but unfortunately people today have chosen to be judgemental and follow the mob mentality. I feel there is a difference between intentional crimes and commiting mistakes and one can point out mistakes without demonizing someone and their intentions. Just my two cents. I enjoyed your blog anyways.❤
