“Softness” and “bruising” are not defined in policy language. Insurance companies have moved the goal posts from the language in policies they sold to avoid indemnifying their insureds.

Matt I value your opinions. I am a veteran adjuster with over 30 yrs experience. Early in my career bruising was a term to describe a softness but no fracture. In this video what I see on the ridge is hail damage no question and if lifted a fracture would be found. The previous comment is from a person that has tried to make an argument that a soft spot is physical damage and was overruled.

They are extremely durable. But I've seen hail big enough to shatter them.
