But for thrust vectoring, you need the engines further back from the CG. I think in this case, if you wanted to keep the jets positioned as they are, you could wire both jets on the same throttle, but have some clamshell doors partially cover the exhaust on one side to turn. The mechanical blockage would be more responsive, without the spool down/spool up delay of the jet.

RE: how the ghost handles It seems like you might want a “fly by wire” solution to be able to translate user input into more acceptable handling. I’m assuming there wasn’t any code written by the creator… Which is an assumption! If I am right, my follow up questions would be “have you ever programmed an arduino before,” “what’s the mix and max (acceptable) output of each jet,” and then it would be a matter of finding a good graph/math equation. Honestly, if I had access to this build to measure stuff I think it would be fun to tweak code in unity to get the best ‘fly by wire’ system for this particular build.

👍 👍 Best Commercial of a sponsor ever. How to make a hovercraft in between this commercial. Also the way it drives is actually very Similiar to how it reacts in the game. Spot on👌

Maybe get into contact with the Hacksmith to see if they'd be down to do a 2.0 build with you! since they just made the Halo Energy Sword!

I thought about this a month before the video came out, wondering why nobody ever built a real life lookalike. And you actually built it 😅 Thank you for a great video!

I love Halo, don't get me wrong, and I'm happy to see this be a thing, but one thing I would personally like to see would be a true to lore functioning Rhino tank from Warhammer 40,000
