You’re reaction to this timeless and beautiful song is priceless. Loved it. I actually was one of those teenagers in the audience hearing this wonderful song being sung by my favorite singer Steve Perry and this band Journey in 1983. It’s a memory I will always cherish and never forget. More Journey reactions please. Journey On.

Thank you for your awesome reaction to this song. This was the correct video. Steve's vocals are always passionate and powerful. Another great one is "Open Arms" live from the 1981 Houston show. It will blow you away. Also, the Send Her My Love video. Thanks, again. I loved it! ❤

I haven't enjoyed a reaction video this much in years. Well done sir. You're going to be a lot of fun to follow. BTW, Steve Perry is known as "The Voice" for songs like this. Try "Why Can't This Night Go On Forever" official video. Good luck sir. You're very entertaining to watch.

A few more songs: Wheel in The Sky 1978, watch Steve during the guitar solo, what you are hearing is Steve singing. Most people think it's coming from the guitar. Live from Japan 1980, Lights and Stay Awhile. Why Can't This Night Go on Forever, When You Love a Woman, Sweet & Simple (audio only), Steve wrote this song about 5 years before joining Journey. Still They Ride, Patiently. Live in Houston, Don't Stop Believing and Open Arms.

Fun Fact - The keyboardist Jonathan Cain wrote this song for his then wife Tane. He wrote it as a dedication for the love for his her. And also, him being 'Faithful' to her while on the road. You saw her, in the part where Jonathan sitting in front of the mirror! Another Fun Fact - This video was from Journey's 1983 documentary called 'Journey Frontiers And Beyond'. It's based on life on the road not only for the band, but also for their road crew. And how they would put the stage together and tearing it down for the next show!!! Other great songs from Classic Journey are ........ You can hear why Steve Perry is known as " The Voice ". Beautiful in studio and live. One of a few can have that talent. He gives goosebumps every time. He puts so much passion and energy into the songs. He began a solo career after leaving Journey. They aren't the same without him.

One of the greatest bands of the 1980s, and Steve Perry is in the top 5 of best rock vocalists. I've never heard of the movie you referenced, but that was a hilarious clip! Absolutely loved it.

The late 70's early 80's, there was 3 bands that had uplifting, inspirational music! My favorite 3 bands of all time,in my opinion! Journey and Steve Perry, Boston and Brad Delp, Triumph and Rik Emmet! If you ever feel down, their music soothes the soul! Best music EVER,hands down!

Yes darling, this is why Steve Perry is called "The Voice". Steve you can listen to studio or live - doesn't matter. He has a once in a lifetime voice known as countertenor. Typically, you hear females sing within his 4 octave range. Beautiful, isn't it?
