@Lonelaw OnePunchOnion it seems like it's harder and harder to find genuine people nowadays. I know everyone says this but especially the younger generations I've been yelled at tell me why I should not respect my elders or anybody for that matter by my own generation. I just don't understand what and where it went wrong people don't respect people anymore and it's really sad. Like the other day my wife put a post on Facebook to for someone with a truck to haul 3 things off for us. We were gonna pay them you know and everything we aren't assholes but this guy came out there and said oh it's gonna be 200 bucks to haul it off. I was like wtf you wanna charge that much for 3 things and you literally live 5 mins away from me and the dump is maybe 10 mins away? It was a small children's dresser a recliner and a king size mattress (just the mattress mind you not the box springs just the freaking mattress). My wife told him she'll put it on her car and take it before she pays somebody $200 for maybe 30 mins of their time total for something as easy as that. He said he would have to leave and get a trailer (I wasn't there at that time) he tried to tell her he needed a full truck and trailer for those 3 things like what kinda truck do you have? A Subaru brat? People kept commenting and saying like 100 150 and stuff and finally this guy messaged her and said he would do it for free. He said what happened to people being neighborly anymore? People helping people fist to help doesn't happen anymore they always ask what's in it for me first. She even tried to throw him a 20 or just put the gas back in his truck and he wouldn't let her do it.

The pipe liner shown with the hole saw holes and cracks gets inflated into the pipe, then pressurized with air to expand it to the inside of the pipe then cured with resin and steam. So, just a random here from KZbin recommended; but my dad was a plumber for like 15 years. I remember he used to always show me pictures (some small company thing they documented everything they did) of some of the more “interesting” (his words) stuff he’s worked on. Barbie heads in toilet drains, clogged P-traps, chocolate milk flowing out of drain clean outs. Now he tends to help out plumbers when they come take care of stuff that’s a bit big for him, or he doesn’t feel like doing it. The local plumbing company gave him like a 100$ labor discount for helping the guys replace the main line under the yard and add a clean out. Anyhow, Love the video, and I plan to send this to him he will love it.

Look up “Trenchless Pipelining” for that sewer line “fix”. The inserted line ends up getting inflated and then hardens. I believe it is a fiberglass type liner that gets inverted into the pipe. Requires special equipment
@Bodi20003 жыл бұрын
The liner gets inserted then pressurized somewhat with very hot water, that hardens the liner. It seals some pretty decent sized holes. After hardening a robot thing is run through the pipe, camera finds the circular bulges where lines connect, and a saw cuts a port there.

All those things you said were true about hvac techs lol the most overcharged trade brother lol. And here in Miami HVAC is fairly important
@cafenightster45483 жыл бұрын
I'm Hvac and think we overcharge too, but there's a good reason. I did installs and they're pretty cruel to the body. 130°F in an attic for 6 hrs can kill you if your not prepared, but the servicing side can be a little on the finessing side. Here in Phoenix, anyone will pay whatever amount to get their A/c to work when its 115°f daily.

@@cafenightster4548 exactly man, I used to have all trades in house but as of covid my HVAC techs are sub contract i.e. $200 to come and diagnose a fridge 😆 finesse is an understatement, I charge $150 for the diagnostic so he had to come down. Also here in Miami these are mostly water source heat pumps in an AC closet above the water heater. Install takes about 4 hours (removal and disposal of old unit) I pay $400-$500 to my techs for this. I've had guys tell me they would do it for $800 lol how much would I have to charge the customer 😅

@@cafenightster4548 and not for nothing, it's the one trade that has the most complications. I've seen an AC have trouble because the wire harness was faulty and needed tl be replaced. When changing the board and thermostat (bracket and all) didn't work we tried changing out the harness. I respect the trade. I guess maybe I should have studied it instead lol 👀

The stuff that came out in the first clip were baby wipes and thats exactly why it says not to flush them..after the toilet paper shortages recently there is going to be alot more of that happening.they put that stuff on the package for a reason

So I just found your channel and I'm binge watching it lol. but my dad is the kind of dad who thinks he can fix anything (unfortunately not always the case) but I have to say if we had to call in a plumber to fix something I'd definitely be someone who would want to watch....not to like "supervise" and scrutinize everything your doing, but just simply out of pure curiosity xD

I work for a Neighboring city's parks department and we deal with our fair share of plumbing related issues. But, at the river we have a fish cleaning machine. One weekend it got backed up and clogged. The whole area around it about 5 feet each way was covered in 1/2 inch of rotting fish slurry. Worst smell and mess I have cleaned up ever.

I’m NOT a plumber! But anytime a tradesman comes, I ask one question: can I help or do ya want me to get the #%¥& outta the way! You know what the answer is every time ❤️😎

so glad i found this channel! Ive done some crazy things but it seems like most the issues come down to poor planning. Im a water wastewater operator in a small town so i get a little bit of everything. the strangest thing so far was a sewer main that collapsed because it was built over a bunch of old outhouse wells. the main broke in a V shape and dropped probably 2' in the middle. we dug at night and did our best to stop the flow. the water that was still coming into our hole drained into a black hole in the corner of our hole. never did fill it up but it sure sounded freaky hearing it hit the bottom... way down somewhere.

Roger, great vids man. I am not a plumber but, have to do a lot of plumbing work as a maintenance guy for a luxury hotel with 300 plus rooms. Only you would believe what I find down sinks and p traps. I just have to shake my head a wonder what the hell these people are doing in the rooms.
